In my opinion, this is the best pizza I've ever had. If you've never been, you're going to get your box and based on size, you may think "that's all I get?". But just wait until you pick it up. It weighs more than your car. Reason being, they absolutely know how a pizza SHOULD be made. Absolutely loaded with their one of a kind sauce, tons of gooey cheese and the freshest high quality toppings - leading to a very hefty and delicious pie. The management care about quality beyond anything. Some people think you just buy any dough, sauce, cheese, and top it with whatever and you have a pizza. But there is a certain art to it, and Tony and Ann's get it. If you get a pizza here with toppings, you won't take a bite that doesn't have toppings in it. And it goes like that for all their food. The bread can't possibly contain all they give you in a sub - it's wonderful. And just like with their pizzas, everything is super fresh and served piping hot. The owner is a great guy and he'll take care of you. This is a place I can't get enough of and I'd HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who wants a real good pizza or meal from a hard working family...
Read moreI'm sure business has been better than expected with lines out the door but please answer the phone. It has been 4 weeks you should have fixed or prepared for the overflowing business you are getting. I tried from 6p to 7:15 repeatedly with my cell phone and house phone on 2/5 and either got a busy signal or when it did ring it ended with a modem answering tone. I went to the store and there were signs saying place order and pick up order but no marked out lines so I wasn't sure where I was supposed to be. Overall I have been trying to get a pizza from these guys since they re-opened and frankly I am not going to try anymore. Sad because I used to go here when I was a child and loved their pizza better than Charles Pizza, Georges and Espresso who were the other big boys in the day. I was really looking forward to this but a lack of respect for their customers with phones not being answered has soured me on the idea. Prices are at least 10 to 15 percent higher than the local competition and they can't straighten out their business. This one is a...
Read moreBy far the best, tastiest pizza I’ve ever had. I have loved it since childhood. But it is a very special kind, and perhaps not for everybody. Uniquely sweet tangy sauce, lots of melted cheese, and lots of olive oil. The crust and slice-base tends to be softish, and you can’t just hold up a slice by the crust, it’s too soft and heavy with cheese and soggy with olive oil for the far end to hold. I like it just as much reheated when I make it crisper in the toaster oven; then I don’t need a fork to eat it— but that way is not as mouth creamy and rich. Really extremely delicious pizza, also a mouth treat. The physical place is primarily for takeout; there’s a few minimal tables, and no charming atmosphere to speak of, beyond some interesting and touching historical photos of the long beloved history of the place, which was run by the grandparents initially in North Chelmsford for many decades. But this pizza is completely worth drastically going out of your way...
