A solid Italian offering. We started with CALAMARI. Which tastes good, but was really kind of like popcorn calamari. Small pieces. The marinara and "secret" sauce were really good. While I find Pineapple on any pizza abhorrent one friend had a HAWAIIAN PIZZA. Lol she said it tasted extremely fresh. Like nothing was processed. Which is hard to achieve with pizza. Dough seems freshly made, and the pineapple fresh diced. Whether it was or not is a mystery, but is presented extremely well. Friend #2 had the balked Spaghetti. While decently tasting the overly thick layer of cheese made it difficult to enjoy. About halfway through he folded that hardening cheese back to get to the pasta. His recommendation is that if you want this maybe ask for lighter cheese on top. I had the SPIEDINO. Basically Shrimp and scallops in Japanese bread crumbs and fried. The shrimp and scallops were delicious. The potato bed they were on excellent. The warm spinach mix was ok. The mix was warm and soggy and would have been better were it fresher and crisp. Desert was the CHEESE CAKE. Hard to screw up and a cold Italian restaurant staple. A little raspberry sauce in the cake was nice. A solid restaurant downtown Dublin.

My wife and I had dinner there on a Friday night and Saturday morning I was having severe stomach issues. I ended up going to the hospital to get fluids and medicine to treat the nausea and dehydration from suspected food poisoning from eating at Deano's. Come Tuesday I got an email from the credit card company asking if I put a 75% tip for the meal, but I DIDN'T!! I have never been charged that much for a tip when I clearly wrote a 20% tip on the ticket. I recommend checking your card charges after going here to make sure you don't get you tip mixed up with another persons. (Edit) I was contacted by the Manager and told that my recipient had the exact same amount as another customer that came the same night. This other customer was the one who put a $40 tip and that tip amount was charged to my card. The Manager did contact me to tell me they will be refunding the difference between the tips.

Deano’s is amazing. By far my favorite place to dine in! Everything that we’ve had so far has been delicious, and the atmosphere is really enjoyable. Great selections that stay on the menu and changes enough that no matter how often you went it variates enough I don’t think you would bore of their selection. The prices are great for the quality of food and experience and doesn’t really feel as your still in Dublin anymore once inside and in the atmosphere. The most recent time I chose the crab cakes which were the best I’ve ever had and will have a hard time choosing something different next time even though I thought I couldn’t break away from their ribeye. I highly recommend going several times and try different things you won’t regret.

Food is always GREAT!!! However i believe when they answer for a call in order they should be a little more friendly. I have been in customer service for many years including the restaurant industry. I feel very strongly in good customer service ,even if you are speaking over the phone and not in person. The woman i spoke with was very matter of fact ,and it seemed as if she was becoming impatient with me. Perhaps she was busy and had a rush, however this part of the job and should not affect my service however short and simple my order may be. This is very important to me when it comes to customer service. I have always enjoyed the food. I never have time to go there ,and always have someone get the food and bring it to me. This was the first time i have called to place an order myself and was not impressed. Also as i write this review a co worker is picking up the order. I called at 2:20 pm to place the order and they said it would be ready in 20 min. It is now 3:15 and he just called and told me he is still waiting. So 20 min has turned into an hour. I am not trying to be a hard tail and this may not be a common thing. It just happens to be my first experience personally and i was not impressed. Great Food!!! Customer service...

Let me first say this was my favorite restaurant. I've been all over the U.S and even Canada a few times and Deano's was my favorite place. My last experience was on Friday, September 24. If this had been my first experience I would never step foot back in there again, and probably even tell other people not to go. My husband ordered his steak medium well and it was so rare it was still blue inside. I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo and there were clumps of some unknown substance all through out it. I decided to try it anyway, because Deano's has never failed me before. My first and only bite I felt something hard in my mouth and when I pulled it out it was a piece of a bone... I had fettuccine Alfredo with NO meat. My poor husband was gonna try to eat his steak anyway but I was worried about the rarity of it so we just told our waitress about it and told her we didn't want to eat anymore. She was sweet and very apologetic and I was embarrassed that we even had to do that. I will hopefully be back but it won't be anytime soon. I'm still giving Deano's 5 stars because this is the first bad experience I've ever had. I just hate it...
