We went to LongHorn after my daughter’s dedication on Mother’s Day. We called at 11 (the earliest they take phone calls) and told them that we would have a party of 17 and would be there at 12-12:15 and that we didn’t all have to sit at the same table if it would be easier to seat us separately. They told us “sounds good, I have you down”. Nothing about a wait time or anything. So, we were under the impression that they had reserved a space for us. We arrived, told them our party was there, waited about 35 minutes, and asked what was going on. They said it would be 25 or more minutes. At this point, I was pretty annoyed. I went in and (admittedly was not nice about it) explained that we had called and were told we would be put on a reservation for 12-12:15, since that’s how we understood the employee who took our call because she never said anything about a wait time and implied that we had a reservation. One of the employees said that she took our call and did tell us there would be a long wait. I don’t know if she was trying to cover herself in front of the manager, but I definitely did not appreciate her lying. I was already upset that my 6 month old was sitting out in the heat and sweating like crazy (the waiting area inside was full) and that I had family members who drove a long way to get there and were leaving because they had to get home and we were all under the impression that they had reserved a space for us. The employee who answered the phone NEVER said they didn’t do reservations or that there would be a long wait time. She just said “sounds good, we have you down”, which I think anyone would interpret to mean a reservation. Like I said, I admit I was not nice at all at that point, and I vowed years ago to never be even remotely rude to food service workers, but that vow was broken that day. What really set me off was the employee lying about what she told us. I will not be back to that location since the employees lie instead of taking responsibility and accountability when they mess up. I ended up eating Burger King on my first Mother’s Day, but I got cute pictures of my daughter...

Read moreWe decided to have a lunch at LongHorn Steakhouse in Dublin, GA while driving between Savannah and Atlanta. The restaurant offers a warm, inviting ambiance that transports diners to a classic ranch setting. The interior is spacious yet cozy, with rustic wooden furniture and booths that provide a comfortable dining experience. The décor truly embraces the feel of the Old West, adorned with cowboy memorabilia, including saddles, lasso ropes, and vintage photos of ranch life. The earthy tones of the walls and soft lighting make the atmosphere relaxed, while the cowboy-themed elements add a charming, nostalgic touch that feels authentic and welcoming.
Our server was exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring we felt well taken care of throughout our meal. Her genuine enthusiasm and willingness to help made the dining experience pleasant from start to finish. For our main course, we ordered the 8 oz sirloin steak with loaded baked potatoes, which arrived promptly. My steak was cooked perfectly to order—juicy, flavorful, and tender, seasoned to enhance its natural flavors without overpowering them.
However, my son requested his steak medium-rare but received one that was well-done. When we mentioned this to our waitress, she was quick to address the issue and returned with a new, perfectly cooked steak within just a couple of minutes. The manager even came to our table personally with the replacement steak, offering a sincere apology, which added a nice touch and made us feel valued as customers.
Overall, both the food quality and the service were impressive. The menu offers solid value, with our meal totaling $54, including a $10 tip, which we felt was reasonable given the high quality of the experience. The combination of delicious food, friendly service, and affordable pricing makes LongHorn Steakhouse a reliable choice for a hearty meal with a touch of Southern charm. If you're in Dublin, GA, and craving a steak in a relaxed, ranch-inspired atmosphere, LongHorn Steakhouse is a...
