Waffle House — Restaurant in Dublin

Myself how about two friends entered this Waffle House we sat down next to the farion near the window and the waitress was very nice said she'd be there in a moment then she asked if we needed other menus we said no then she asked for our drinks we said coffee and water please. She then came to the table without our coffee and water and asked us to order we said we wanted our coffee first she said you have to order first I must take your order we said no we want our coffee she walked away with an attitude and mumbled under her breath that we must order first and we got very upset and started to leave, the waitress continued to have an attitude and we ask for the manager and we explained it to the manager and he really didn't seem to have anything but I'm sorry and did not do anything to make us feel any better at the meantime the waitress was still very very sarcastic and did not care about our feelings about wanting our coffee before we place an order she was very very sarcastic and we asked a couple of the other waitresses what her problem was but they refused to answer. I've never been to a waffle house where I had to order prior to getting my drinks have never had anybody at a Waffle House get sarcastic about me wanting my coffee first my buddies and I left and went up the street and had breakfast. Waffle House is awesome any time of day! I happened to have it at 2pm on a Tuesday. This Waffle House off a Dublin exit is right across the street from some hotels (lucky them) and is in a good area where sun can get in through the windows, making the place bright and sparkly. This Waho was extremely clean, props to the people who do that. The staff I had that day were very nice and we're super friendly to eachother, like they actually knew eachother (rather than some places where employees only want to be known as a co-worker and don't want to know them for anything other than work) which made for a nice friendly environment. Our food came out fast, I got an All-Star, and it was cooked just right, the way all waffle houses make the food. Some waffle houses I've been too aren't as interesting or have as motivated staff as this one does, but that's expected from any work field, not everyone is going to be the happiest person of all time all the time. Poor service. Order had to be repeated several times to the server. Each time she repeated it she got the order mixed up and left off items or special instructions. My eggs came softly scrambled so I couldn't eat them, but it became too much trouble to send them back. My friend got grits instead of the crispy hashbrowns that he ordered. Had to request those be cooked. Were halfway done eating and had to ask for our country ham steaks that they never cooked. They cooked and brought 1 to the table. Had to remind them again that there were 2 country ham. The 2nd piece came to the table undercooked. The server who took over and started making corrections was very pleasant and apologetic.
