The Anchor at the Dublin Inn has quickly been gaining a reputation as an upscale bar and restaurant, and maybe one of the best newly opened culinary experiences in our area. Nestled right in downtown Dublin, this unassuming newly converted bar and eatery surprised both my husband and I last night. The new owners, Angela and Chris have reimagined the local sports bar, and given new life to their establishment with a fresh vision, updated original menus and a warm, elegant, cozy pub ambience. The menu is well selected with choice and quality foods. The meal selections were upscale without paying top dollar price, and the dishes are original, not likely to be found anywhere else but in your own kitchen. The portions were large enough that we couldn’t finish our whole meal. The food was absolutely amazing, everything we tasted melted in our mouths, definitely the best meal we both had in while. The Anchor at the Dublin Inn is sure to become the locals go to destination for great cocktails, food and...
Read moreStopped in here last night to check it out and was very impressed. The staff were great and the bartender was attentive but still had conversations going with people at the bar. Smaller bar and not many seats available but luckily we managed to secure two. Lots of drink options for beers. Cans plus 8 taps. They also had a good selection of whiskey. Saw a lot of people order the smoked whiskey’s. The food was really good. Small menu but I think that what is on it offers up a little something for everyone. The wings are crispy which I absolutely love. Only had two sauces (hot and mikes hot honey) and they were both good. Check out the appetizers section, some interesting choices there. Had the green friend tomatoes. I don’t like tomatoes typically but these were great. Rib eye cheesesteak was fantastic and the burger was also very good.
The vibe here is great. Hope people keep coming out and can’t wait to check this...

The food has been consistently good for all. The wings and selection of sauces seemed to make everyone happy as well as the sweet potato fries, which someone said were the best they’d had. Both the ribeye and chicken cheesesteak are full of meat (from one end of the roll to the other) and were flavorful. I prefer spicy food and the chicken sandwich did not disappoint…it was spicy and I probably could have used a glass of milk. LOL. My one friend had the eggplant and she was quite happy with it. I appreciate the variety of the beer selection and the service has been incredibly friendly. I’m hoping to see some healthier items on the menu but all in all, really happy...
