For whatever reason my children love Scotty's donuts and whenever we visit the grandparents about a thousand miles from home they always ask repeatedly if we can stop and get donuts, by which they mean can Dad get up early and go get donuts so that when they finally wake up at 11:00 in the morning they can eat them.
If I understand correctly the original owner has passed within the last year or so and I will say the inside of the store seems to reflect a little bit of a loss of something. There used to be all sorts of bric-a-brack and knick knacks on the wall that they would sell including lots of Hot Wheels cars that I always thought were kind of charming, I don't really care that those things are gone necessarily however i'm a little sad that they got rid of their promotion. My wife likes the peanut butter ones and my kids like the Boston creams, and I will say all of them noted that the Boston cream tasted different this time than what they remembered for whatever...

All the others were...
