Since when is “plain” a flavor of wing? Charging $1 to get the wing sauce on the side, not an extra cup of sauce on top of already sauced wings, is crooked in my opinion. And on top of your already high prices?! It is on the menu that a cup of wing sauce is $1 but it is also on the menu that wings come with 1 sauce and plain is not listed as 1 of the flavors, like the “manager” told me today on the phone. Oh, and $1 charge for the cup of wing sauce is conveniently placed on the opposite side from the wing part of the menu. So if someone wants their wing sauce on the side you charge them $1 for it?? It’s 1 thing to not include dipping sauces such a ranch with your appetizers and charge $1 extra for it, that’s not as outrageous as changing someone for something they’re already paying for! That’s ridiculous! Now to add insult to injury, instead of trying to alleviate the situation, the oh so pleasant owner, blocks people who have an issue from calling after 1 phone call or commenting on their Facebook page. I called Tuesday to see if they would want to fix the problem and the woman I spoke to was polite, understood my complaint because she said she wouldn’t charge for the sauce on the side and said she would call me back after they weren’t so busy to take care of me. No call later that day or the next day so I tried calling back Thursday and it seemed my number was blocked. I tried calling later that day and still blocked so I had someone call the store on Friday morning and then add me to the call and that is when I spoke with “the manager” who was a “bright” young man who said “plain is a wing flavor”. And now to add a snarky comment to my review when it could’ve been taken care of very easily, shows just the type of person the owner is. P.s. we frequented the store often for wing nights and to be charged $1 for something I’m already paying for, for several weeks, adds up to be more than $1. It’s dishonest. You didn’t try to take care of anything, you just blocked my number from your business phone. No explanation. You just took the cowards way out. Charging your mother doesn’t make you anymore right or me anymore wrong. You’re steal people’s money, in my opinion, when you charge them for something they already paid for and THAT on top of you bragging about charging your own mother makes you the Karen. A weak willed Karen at that, which may seem like a contradiction in terms but here you are! Also, I’m loving the comments and the blocking on Facebook and from your company phone (blocking me after 1, count it, 1 phone call). You keep showing people how you truly feel about customers. And It makes 1 thing painfully obvious, you don’t care about your customers. I’m not sure if you think you’re oh so superior, mister or mrs. owner, but I can promise you, you and your establishment are not. You’re mediocre at best but my husband liked the 1 type of beer you had. My having a problem could’ve been addressed because I was not rude and have not been rude at all. Not even after you’ve been rude and hid behind a keyboard and couldn’t deal with the situation like a human being. Only after I reviewed you on a couple different platforms did you show my issue some attention. If you care as little as you say you do, then you would’ve not commented and went about your day but you’re taking this awfully personally for someone who thinks they’re right about taking money from their customers for something they already paid for. Plain is not a wing flavor, in any town, in any state, in any country, on the planet and when your menu says 1 sauce, if you don’t mean it to be on the side then you should clearly state that on the menu by the wing section but you do whatever you want to do to your customers. It won’t be me again. I just wish I would’ve caught it sooner but that was my mistake. Won’t happen again. You clearly need the money more than me. If being wronged by a business and not keeping quiet after you just dismissed me isn’t normal, then I don’t want to be normal. Return my money and we’ll...
Read moreNot impressed :( We were in Dubois for a wk and and sought out local spots to eat. Went to about 6 different local places as per on line reviews as well as locals recommendations. Went here twice as the Wings they were rec. I'll sum this up by saying we would only go back for takeout, as the staff was less then inviting or engaged & more like dismissive & inconsiderate or just flat out rude. The atmosphere is pretty much a place to sit while you wait for food. But more importantly, and Sadly the wings where Nothing Special esp @ 9$ for 6pc, we got a few as we wanted to try a couple sauces. Tiger & Dumpster as they were top picks (from others) are Very similar, so I'd rec on or the other... both where OK. Also got there Hot which I'd say the same about. On the up side they did have a Big selection of beers & and other canned drinks plus a nice variety tap beer aswell. I usually don't take the time to write reviews, esp on restaurants, but I felt this place was worthy of my time as it was Definitely the biggest disappointment of all the places we went. Note to management. I'd suggest you have a refreshed review of your business model reg customer service and staff professionalism (including there responsibilities and knowledge of hygiene, cleanness &...
Read moreWings - check...cheesesteak - check...service - check. I've scoured every square inch of Pennsylvania for some half-decent wings, and I found exactly what I was looking for (and more) when I popped into Super Sub & Six Pak. This place is the cat's pajamas. Super Sub has the best wings in the state, and it's not even close (don't @ me). Deciding between the "Dumpster" and "Tiger" flavors is like picking who's your favorite child. Do me a favor...GRAB BOTH. The cheesesteaks are phenomenal too. And as amazing as the food was, the staff is even better. Friendly and attentive, Super Sub has a great staff that goes above and beyond compared to what I'm accustomed to from the Quakers and Amish that inhabit the surrounding area. I even saw the owner putting in work in the kitchen. The crown jewel of the state, Super Sub & Six Pak was the highlight of my trip to the northeast and I would definitely go...
