T.J. Maxx — Local services in Sandy Township

This is a great TJ Maxx. Clothes are kept on hangers and in the right places. Aisles are easy to navigate and the staff are friendly and helpful. And, TJ Maxx is about as good as it gets around here where there are pathetically few places to shop and no outlets or other stores I was accustomed to buying my clothes from in Connecticut. I have found some great deals in TJ Maxx and some nice linen dresses. I've also found a few of the items I used to buy in health food stores - unknown shopping locales to local residents. This parking lot is well designed and the shopping plaza includes Petco and Lowe's - 2 more useful stores I sometimes visit. I don’t know why they locked everything with a security wire. I wanted to buy a purse for a gift, and it took ten minutes to find someone, and then it started beeping. Three staff members came to fix this. Once they unlocked it, they did not allow me to look deep; instead, they said, "If you are sure, we will keep it front and center cashiers." It’s a 50-dollar item, and they mash their customers. If they have many shoplifters, they should take different strategies from this one. Also, I did not experience healthy behavior from a cashier while checking out. They encouraged my nephew to get the card to get a ten percent discount, but they would not let him get it.

Tuesday, November 15th 2022. My wife and I got “kicked out” from the store at 6:55 pm. I planed the night to come here and spend couple of hours to look for new clothes and furnitures due to our moving. We arrived 6:30 pm and clearly they did not wanted us to be there. Every 5 minutes they announced the store is closing. We got rushed to the cashier and I asked; why is the store closing that early? They said with an attitude; it would be nice to get home…. This is the reason I will never come back to this T.J. Max and I will tell everybody to not to come, because the employees don’t appreciate the customers.
