We ordered food from the Dubois, PA Red Lobster, and were horribly disappointed with what we received. The food provided does NOT measure up to what we have eaten at other Red Lobster locations.
We placed our order online, for Curbside/To Go pickup. The order process was satisfactory, and the food was ready on time.
We ordered a Choose Your Own Family Feast, which included three main entrees and two sides, all family size. In addition, an individual Choose Your Own 2 Selection meal was ordered.
Crab Cakes were selected at an additional $3.99 up-charge, as one of the entrees selected for the individual meal. The crab cakes were overcooked, dried out and falling apart.
Garlic Shrimp Scampi was ordered with the family size meal, which was utterly tasteless, as were the family size green beans. The green beans had white specks in them, which I assume may have been garlic, but there was no garlic flavor. I won’t speculate as to the cause, but will say the green beans seemed soggy.
The mashed potatoes ordered with the individual meal were bland, lumpy and seemed a bit dried out.
Overall, a large portion of what we ordered seemed overcooked and lacked flavor, making our meal very disappointing.
We have eaten at other Red Lobster locations dozens of times over the past 20+ years, and the quality of the food we received in Dubois today does NOT measure up to what we’ve experienced in...
Read moreStopped here for the first time in a few years. Had been pre Covid since we last ate here. It was Saturday around noon. We got seated in a great secluded spot where nobody could walk past us and there was nobody next to us. For that I give 5 stars. Our waitress introduced herself saying she was the “new kid on the block” and she was overwhelmed today. Almost to say to expect bad service. We ordered an appetizer and drinks. We were delivered our appetizer in a timely manner. When the it arrived we had no plates to eat it on or no drinks. We waited around 5 to 7 minutes staring at our appetizer while it got cold. Finally drinks and plates arrived. We ordered our meals shortly after. Then a couple with a screaming baby we’re seated next to us. The baby cried but eventually stopped. The food was good, no complaints there, not extraordinary but good. We paid and left and when we got to our car I looked at the receipt and we were charged for grilled scallops which we didn’t order for but did receive. So the order was placed incorrectly. It just wasn’t a good memorable experience. It’ll Probably be a long time before we...
Read moreI made reservations for 7:30 on Valentine’s Day 5-6 days ahead of time. We got there right in time and started walking in. On the way to the door we walked past a group who told us good luck as they also had reservations but had 13 parties ahead of them. We continued to the door where another couple told us the same thing and they were going to wait around. We were not. If you are going to take reservations you should probably honor the reservations. We make plans to eat at your restaurant and you can’t even give us a table. So we left and went to a restaurant we go to often and where the customer service is fantastic. Then as we’re sitting there eating dinner a woman from red lobster calls me 40 minutes after our reservation to ask if we were coming. I said “uh when we were there at 7:30 there was a bunch of people ahead of us. So no” and she continued to mumble something and hang up on me. Typically the term reserve means to hold or save. But since they can’t do that why would I want to wait 40 minutes before I could even sit down let alone know when I would get my food. Don’t make a reservation here on a busy day if you actually...
