Knicker's Saloon — Restaurant in Dubuque

We actually went there for lunch Christmas day. It was our first time eating there. We ordered the 14" meat lovers pizza. Oh my gosh it was so full of meat and cheese. Probably 3 inches deep. Not counting the crust! It was delicious. It was so filling that we could only eat two squares of pizza each. They have breakfast pizzas, garlic bread, appetizers, as well as burgers, fries, onion rings and so much more. The tables are spaced out nicely. I was in town staying at the Grand Harbor Resort. It was late and I wanted to grab a bite to eat and decided it would be pizza. I was not disappointed as the bartender extended a genuine and heartfelt welcome. She knew I was new to the area because she was familiar with all of her regular customers. My pizza was hot and fresh out of the oven. Most of all, they are not stingy with the cheese. I enjoyed their pizza because it is not wimpy and thin as toast. I had to ask for 2 gasses because they were very dirty, one still had lipstick on it!!! Ordered the fish meal and the outside looked nice but the crispy outer shell came off and it was all dough down to the fish.
