I frequently visit this restaurant whenever I'm craving authentic, traditional Korean homemade soups and comforting dishes that evoke the flavors of home. There’s something incredibly endearing about this place—its humble, unpretentious charm and the warm, welcoming atmosphere make you feel as if you’re dining at a family member’s home. The service here is also something special; it’s reminiscent of the care and attention you’d receive from a beloved aunt, with staff who genuinely make you feel at ease. During our recent visit, we ordered the 우거지 해장국 (beef and cabbage hangover soup), paired with a bottle of Soju, setting the tone for a deeply meaningful evening. We were there to reflect on the memories of a close friend who had recently passed away. The rich, earthy flavors of the soup, with its tender beef and perfectly seasoned broth, brought us not only comfort but also a sense of togetherness as we shared stories, laughter, and emotions.

The meal, coupled with the warm atmosphere, allowed us to indulge fully in both the food and our conversation, creating a poignant yet cathartic experience. Even though we were soaked from sweats, it only added to the mood as we savored each spoonful, almost as if the delicious, hearty food was helping to wash away our sorrows, if only for a brief moment. This restaurant continues to be a place where I not only enjoy delicious meals but also find solace and a sense of peace in the comforting atmosphere. It has become more than just a dining spot—it's a sanctuary for reflection and meaningful...

Been here 5-6x while in and out of the city. Most of Gwinnett's standard of Korean food has declined recently with the exception of a few restaurants. This is one.

If you have a Daegu-style palette, spend your time here. This place is loaded with old heads for their approach to traditional dishes with a traditional taste (pre-80's). This is not your usual Korean spot that some people are used to. Take your parents and grandparents here.

Great ambiance. Classic Korean restaurant vibes. If you need something, speak up. You're here to vibe and eat fantastic food. Don't be shy. Leave your ego out the door. You're here for the food. If you want to be buttered up with modern service.. look you're at a HQ traditional food restaurant. You see that paradox? Fix that mentality. Lol. Best 은대구조림 (Eundaegu Jorim) in the county....

Couldn't even try food. They had a lot of people there and the owner said just wait and sat us down with no menus. We waited and waited while the owner literally just stood there and kept signaling for one of the busy waitresses to come by. After finally getting water and menus we said we were ready to order and the waitress right next to us didn't even respond. She responded to a guy who shouted at one of the big tables. We decided no one was going to really serve us so got up to leave and I honestly would not have written a review about them EXCEPT for the fact that when we told the waitress we'd be leaving because no one came to take our order she said "okay thanks bye" lol what. On top of that, the owner was sitting and talking at one of the bigger tables. Why don't you get up and actually serve...

The last couple of times I've come here, the soup has been really good. However, this time, the beef hangover soup had overcooked or overly ripe cabbage, which I didn’t like. In my opinion, they have the best seafood hot stone rice compared to anywhere else; the aroma is a perfect balance of meat, rice, and vegetables. They also serve really tender, flavorful, and juicy neckbone soup. It feels like homemade food—comforting and balanced with deep flavors.
