The bakery is located inside the food court of Jusgo Supermarket in Duluth. You can access the food court area with a grocery cart from Jusgo Supermarket, or you can enter through a separate entrance to the food court from the parking lot without going into the supermarket. There is plenty of parking in the plaza.
The bakery is smaller in scale and doesn’t have many seats inside, but there are plenty of seats in the food court area right outside of the bakery. When I visited on a weekend night, there weren’t many pastries left. They close at 8 p.m. every day, which is a bit early for the weekend, especially in the Duluth area.
The bakery is small but clean. The staff is very friendly, and they provide reusable bags for your purchases. We tried the chocolate and tiramisu Swiss rolls, which were good. The cream inside the rolls was fresh, and the cake part wasn’t as dry as the Swiss rolls at other bakeries. We also had the mini croissant bag. It felt a bit stale to me, but if you buy it to go, you can reheat it in an oven or air fryer to make the texture more like a flaky pastry rather than soft bread.
We might visit again if we’re in the area. Hopefully, next time there will be more options available...
Read moreI had been looking forward to this bakery for quite a while, and it finally opened. I visited during their first week, but to be honest, I was a bit disappointed. Since it’s located inside Jusgo Supermarket, the storefront is quite small, and the pastries weren’t particularly refined. However, the prices were definitely a bit of a “shokku”—just like the shop’s name—on the expensive side for what they offer. That said, I recently got their Reserved Surprise Bag through Too Good To Go, and it turned out to be a pretty good deal. Every item in the mystery bag tasted decent, and I felt it was worth the price this time. Still, if I had to pay full price for these individually, I’d probably hesitate. Hopefully, next time the surprise will be...
Read moreNew Bakery inside Jusgo Supermarket I went to their soft opening and they just had a grand opening about a week ago. I’m going to be brutally honest... It is supposedly Japanese style but it doesn’t really seem like it except some pastries. They said the black croissants were the most popular but l don’t think I would buy it again. It tasted weird and I think it would be better if they did custard or something. For the price I would go to the Korean or other Asian bakeries nearby. Average price is $4-7 but i think it is pricier than other places. I hope they do better. If it does get better I’ll change my review but I was disappointed and don’t think I would go again...
