Had a gentleman come up to me and my wife while we were completely lost and told us how if we havent tried this spot we definitely should. He went on to explain how all the food is prepared fresh and how they even had frozen versions of the food for people to make at home. We ended up trying the chicken lo mein and the pork buns. There's no other way to describe the food we got other than perfect. The buns were filled with tender pork and had a slight taste of what I think was cinnamon which threw me off for a second but gave a perfect blend of savory with just a hint of sweet. The lo mein was so filling and flavorful. Nothing seemed over seasoned or over sauced. The noodles and the veggies had amazing texture and tasted so... clean for a lack of a better word. Even our 2 year old who is a very picky eater was yelling at us just to give him more. If you're looking for delicious food, I highly recommend you give this place a try. You will not regret it and the prices asked are honestly fair for the portions provided and the amazing flavor. We will absolutely be back to try the...
Read moreI decided to order from a different spot in the food court as my usual place was closed. I ordered the Mee Goreng meal with chicken (N3 on the menu).
The food came out hot and fresh. It tasted incredible. The protein was beyond tender. The egg had an almost velvety texture to it. The noodles were fully coated in a flavorful sauce. Truly an exceptional meal.
The staff were very kind and welcoming. Everything about my experience made me want to come back again to experience more of what Malaysian cuisine has to offer.
With the dish I ordered, the sauce is labeled as a sweet and spicy sauce which may deter some people from ordering it. I can say with confidence that while there is a bit of a warmth to the flavor, the sweetness comes through moreso than any lingering spice on your palette. If there are any questions regarding the menu the staff will help you out with a smile on their face.
Dont let the fact that it is located in a restaurant fool you, this restaurant is a hidden gem amidst the standard American-Chinese fare located nearby. (Looking at you...
Read moreGreat Malaysian food. I am from Singapore and really enjoyed their Char Kway Teow, Nasi Lemak and fried Hokkien Mee. I mentioned that Singapore Hokkien Mee is different from Malaysia and the owner Mary knows what I meant since she also knows about Singapore hawker food and told me she can whip something up to meet my expectation. I was very pleased with her creative skill and even though it's not totally like Singaporean style, it was very delicious. I devoured the whole dish in one setting 😋 Nasi Lemak was very delicious that came with a fair portion of chicken rendang. Again, not the traditional Lemak but the rendang was superb that makes up for what is non traditional. Overall, all 3 dishes we ordered were very delicious and we will be back. Small eatery with very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Bill, the owner's partner was very enthusiastic about Mary's cooking and describing everything he can with his own experience of the dishes they serve. Yes we will be back to try their...
