Sunny Wings — Restaurant in Duluth

I don’t know how this restaurant has 4.6 . I used to be a professional caterer/designer and this food was awful. The customer service was excellent but the wings tasted burnt and the sauce was a cheap bottle sauce I have tasted in other restaurants. My fries weren’t cooked properly, some weren’t cooked all the way through and the fried rice( vegetable )although seasoned well was lacking of any vegetables ( no peas,carrots and they had run out of green onions) so I simply had onions( white) and very little egg. I originally purchased this food for someone in the hospital to have something different but she didn’t like it and I then tried it and agreed.Awful. First, I will say that the food itself was very tasty. I ordered the Philly steak and six wing combo and a ten wing combo. I arrived home, viewed the food to only find five wings instead of six and nine wings instead of ten. I called Sunny Wings and the lady that answered attempted to communicate that the wings are jumbo. They were not… I believe if the menu specified a number with a price, then that’s what the customer should receive. I believe it to be bad business and the lady that handed me my food stated, “ Six wings with P Steak and ten wings combo.” Therefore, she knew that she lied without blinking about the order. Absolutely dissapointed in the food. I’ve had Sunny wings in the past and it’s been decent AT BEST but today was next level. Got a Hot/Lemon pepper 15 piece with a Philly.

First the wings were half hot and half lemon pepper. Not mixed as I asked.

As I sit down and eat I can say the best thing from this plate was the fries and ranch dressings. Little to no sauce on the hot ones and they skipped out on the lemon and pepper in the Lemon Pepper wings.

28 bucks completely down the drain and I mean that in literal form. Honestly feel like throwing up.

Last time I have wings here unless I’m aware of a new cook or something that makes these wings...
