Long story short: These beads and other stuff are imported from India, When I recently visited india I found same beads were like 50 times cheaper. If youâre from Hyderabad, India. I strongly recommend to visit Begum bazar. I can tell you exact which store if anyone is interested.
We bought $300 worth ruby necklace from this store, which was $130 (11,000 INR ) in Begum Bazar, Hyderabad. It was the same quality. I asked the Hyderabad store owner and he replied they get all these beads and other stuff from Jaipur and it is imported to US. I strongly recommend to check with your family and friends who reside in Hyderabad.
I strongly will not recommend this place. If you have enough money to waste, please go ahead.
Update after owner's reply: The ruby string size, quality wad exactly the same, and it was way better than US. Yes, customers are coming from Hyderabad, or their parents sent them because they don't know the facts. Thats the reason I wanted to bring this to their notice. Trust me guys you'll definitely find the same stuff Ruby's, emeralds, jades and etc. way cheaper than beads after beads. I'm attaching the photo where I found the same stuff cheaper and affordable price at Hyderabad. I spent almost : $1000 which was worth $300 in India. I'm not promoting any business, this is just my experience and sharing with others. Thank me later if you find...
Read more1st time customer. Canât complain too much since they did have a beautiful sandalwood mala I purchased. But I will say a few things about it. This business is very eager to cut some beads out of a bunch before telling you of their extreme expectation that you MUST buy them. Maybe itâd be easier if they treated it like ordering a drink without a tab⌠you pay when they cut. I could tell that when I decided not to get the beads I picked out, but get the mala instead (what I was going to make with beads), that some grave offense was committed. But alas, I was âgiven a passâ for being a first time customer. Iâm sure others will have this same experience in the future. Heck, I read about this sort of experience in the google reviews beforehand, and thought that a sales person would eventually learn how to sell stuff without pressure. Not a big deal, but rubs the wrong way⌠doesnât make you want to come back, even if you had the money and wanted to spend it. Am still happy they had the...
Read moreAs I was very impressed by the selection , The service was horrible. The first time I was was told what all of the black people typically buy and how they use them. The owner or manager kept telling me that the black people buy this and the black people by that. Because I had already had my beads in hand I went ahead and purchased them and I spent a good deal of money that day and bought some pretty beads. As I allow people to have their own feelings I return to the store another day to buy charms and maybe purchase a few more beads. This time as I got ready to leave the store I noticed some tumbled stones. And I started to look through them another lady came over and started watching me. Apparently I was taking too long because she started to tap her feet as she watched me. At that point I put my tumbled stones down and exited the store and will never return . I will note that there were other people in the store and they were not being...
