Mannn!! I came inside only because I had to pee! Lol! I wanted to contribute something, so I asked the gentleman (actually end up being THE OWNER) if I could buy an egg roll! He asked “Chicken or Shrimp?” I’m like, whatever is cheaper. He insisted I go ahead and use the restroom. I’m like “But I haven’t paid, please let me pay!” Not know being I look like money and driving a rented Tesla, I am actually homeless and sleep in my car, I haven’t worked in a month and was down to my last $4!! I had $21,000 just last month but I digress. I swiped my card to pay the measly $4.89 total and my card declined!! He said “That’s ok, we all have bad days!” I said no, I have $1.00, can you take that and then swipe the rest? He said “Sure!” He was amazing! I gave home the $1.00 and y’all, why did my card still decline for $3+!! I showed him I was a business owner of 3 businesses in ATL, and he didn’t care, he shared he was the owner and how he needed help to open this place! I began to cry!! I said I promise, I won’t be down for long and I’ll be back! You have my word! He said “ I trust you!” What? He didn’t even know me and trusted me! Yall! Please, then I got to my car, a Tesla. Smh! I do enjoy Americanized Chinese once in a while and General Tso's tends to be my litmus test on whether a restaurant is decent. When I got my General Tso's the first thing I noticed was the extra helping of garlic there was. I naively thought it was just a way to compensate the ultra bland sauce, not terrible just mediocre.

I've long forgotten the feeling of food poisoning... until later Tuesday night. I honestly should've put two and two together since my parents have owned a Chinese Restaurant for over 30 years and have learned all the tricks other restaurants have done to make expiring ingredients and meats passable. One of them is the overuse of garlic in a dish.

Well let's just say that night and the following day it didn't end well on both ends.

The food is good, but the packing is where my issue is. I always order the same thing (broccoli chicken combination), and I’m always concerned about the juices for the meal spilling out in the bag. This particular time the entire container fell apart and I decided to call back and inform them. They insisted the packing was perfect and would not remake the meal. That’s very upsetting and disappointing. I can’t continue to spend money here if they don’t honor their product quality. So this is the last time I support this business. Oh, and no this was not my doing. Everything in the bag was sitting flat, nor was it stabilized with cardboard. All of the meals had spillage. This was just the worst one.
