Grant St. Cafe 25 Grant Ave. Dumont, NJ 07628 Dude Chicken Wings Prosciutto & Baratta Salad Sliced Filet Mignon Platter Jameson Irish Whiskey Burger Chicken Parmesan 14” Pepperoni Pizza Cookie Dough Cake Appearance: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Taste: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Conveniently off Washington Ave. where President George Washington once actually passed is a pub with great meals and deals! Stop in anytime on Monday through Thursday for discounted entrees; each day is a different special. One of the specials offered on Wednesdays are different parmesan entrees. With a difficult decision to make, I chose chicken and was not disappointed. The marinara sauce with a touch of Parmesan cheese is the way to go! Thursdays are wings. The dude wings are smothered in sweet Thai chili sauce. There’s a whole bunch of flavors to choose so make multiple trips if you want to try them all! Even if you miss any of the specials, you will still have a really great time. The prosciutto & Baratta salad eats like a meal. It can easily feed a couple. You can never get enough onions and gravy as you chow down on the sliced filet mignon platter. Underneath these delicious toppings are the thinly sliced steak and buttered toast. The best part of the Irish whiskey burger are the frizzed onions. This bad boy has several toppings so you’ll get the best of many worlds! Whether you are looking to dine indoors or outdoors check out this local spot as you won’t be disappointed. With so many entrees to choose, especially on Special days, no one can eat just one! #grantstreetcafe #GrantAve #washingtonave #jamesonirishwhiskey #Sweetthaichiliwings #filetmignon #salad

As a self-proclaimed connoisseur of New Jersey bar pies, I can confidently say Grant Street Cafe has set the bar high--and I'm absolutely here for it! Their plain bar pie was pure perfection. Sometimes, simplicity is the ultimate test, and they nailed it. With a perfectly crispy, golden crust, tangy sauce, and just the right amount of gooey cheese, it's the kind of pie that reminds you why you fell in love with bar pies in the first place. Let's talk about the double-fried wings--pure magic. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor, they had me licking my fingers unapologetically. The food alone makes this place a standout. The bar area itself is great for catching a game, with plenty of TVs and a laid-back vibe. While the wait staff behind the bar seemed a bit disorganized, the energy of the place and the quality of the food made up for any minor hiccups. Bonus: I had a brush with fame--or at least fame-adjacent! For the second time in 10 years, I spotted none other than music super-manager Paul Rosenberg right here in Bergen County. It's just the kind of quirky, memorable moment that makes a good outing great. Grant Street Cafe is officially on my list of go-to spots. I'll definitely be back, and if you're into classic bar pies and top-notch wings, this is your place. Great food, great vibes, and maybe even a celebrity sighting or two!

We had rsvp for 4 people. This was my first time there and I cannot wait to go back again. I got the Jameson burger with candied bacon, OMG wow it was absolutely delicious. Best burger. Juicy and flavourful. The best fries and a decent amount too! My boyfriend got their buffalo wings and they were delicious as well. We also got a few drinks and they were prefect. My ain't and uncle for 2 pizza pies and that was the prefect pizza! The workers are wonderful and attentive to the guests. Which made the whole experience even better.

The server offered me my check before even getting our entrées. Tried to play it off like she confused us with another table. Entrees arrived 40minutes later so must have forgotten to enter our order. Ok, mistakes happen, no big deal.

Food arrives and we don't have silverware. Ok, another honest mistake. Asked for silverware for the 2 of us, and they bring one set. 10mins later we get another knife and fork. Ok, mistakes can happen repeatedly.

Then, we asked for side plates and was given tiny paper plates about 4inches in diameter like we were having birthday cake at a 5yr olds bday party. Had to ask a few times for adult sized dishware.

We ordered drinks too which arrived quickly but why doesn't anyone ask if we want another round? Liquor is where the money is made!!! We came to have drinks and eat!!

One drink was spilled on us too. Ok, mistakes happen, but why no apology or offer of a replacement?

Then we actually asked for the check and before we could even drop a card or cash, the server took it back. We sat there like, huh? Free meal tonight? Took 15mins for the server to come back to our table, realizing we had not paid yet.

Not sure if I would go back here. I know good help is hard to find but for me, it was comical tonight. I was waiting for the reality TV...
