This review is from my Facebook group page: Food Exploration With Jeff The Critic:
I didn’t go down the shore, but I went to West Shore Avenue and felt right at home at Hometown Cafe & Grill.
Owners Steve and Tammy greeted me as I entered their restaurant and served plentiful breakfast plates.
The croffle is one of the tastiest breakfast finger foods I ever tried. This South Korean delicacy is a waffle prepared with croissant dough.
Several toppings are available, but you won’t go wrong with whichever you choose! I especially admired the artistic appearance of the lotus caramel croffle because of the biscoff cookie precisely centered on the appetizer .
The everything bagel was freshly served out of the oven. The dough was warm on the inside and slightly crispy on the outside with the perfect amount of cream cheese spread.
If you are looking for the mother of all sandwiches, the Huskinator is a must try! It is packed with bacon, sausage, taylor ham, fried egg, cheese and a hash brown! I had “no problemo” terminating this sandwich the same way the T-800 terminated the T-1000!
You’ll feel like you are virtually in Cali when you taste the California omelette. It’s filled primarily with several avocado chunks and I never thought I’d enjoy this bright green fruit combined with fried eggs!
All in all, it was a pleasurable experience dining in their cafè and the owners provide efficient, friendly service. “I’ll be back” to explore their...
Read moreOur new favorite spot. The quality of food that comes out of their kitchen is amazing. We usually door dash from them and haven't had a bad meal, everything always comes out perfect. We decided to go in person. The establishment is a very cute cafe. The owners are very friendly and inviting.
They do have a rather large menu, but do have a QR code that you can scan to look over the items in case you didn't want to stand to look over the menu. We ordered chicken and fish burgers on brioche, some tots and fries with a bubble tea and a hot tea.
The burgers were great. 10/10 The fish was crispy and the chicken was juicy. Both were excellently prepared and had excellent flavor.
Thier tots were spot on, 10/10, perfect crispy little pillows of potato.
The fries were an 8/10, they were cooked perfectly but were a tad too salty for us (we'll probably ask to skip the salt in the future.)
The croffles are nothing short of amazing, 10/10 our favorite Is the Very Berry.
Brown sugar bubble tea 8/10. Good flavor, a tad bit in the too sweet side. Hot English Breakfast tea with cream and sugar 10/10. Perfect.
I really enjoyed our visit to this cafe, it's a...

Usually small businesses utilize third party merchant services therefore refund should go through dispute initiated by credit card holder first. That is the easiest way.
I will say one thing, as long as I have known the owners they are always willing to help in anyway they can. I have always had a good experience. I believe that when Uber Eats and DoorDash is used, the prices are higher than in-store price as these delivery providers charge hefty commission/fees to merchants. Most of the stores using UberEats or Doordash delivery services has higher price than in-store price to compensate for the fees. I think that's why they said to use their own website because it's lower priced to save you on orders. I come there very often and I have yet not to...
