I came in at 9:05 this morning. While I didn't have to wait long at all to get my order taken, it was not a pleasant experience. The lady on front was very rude and didn't bother to ask questions or anything. I was met with a very curt "Is it for here or to go?" No hi, how are you, nothing. Just met immediately with rudeness. I politely told her that it was for here and that I wanted the bacon breakfast burrito meal. I didn't say anything else because I wasn't given the chance to. Just an immediate total. That was it, just a total. I was kind of thrown off by that where I've been a manager before (not here) and the absolute non existent service etiquette was making me not want food at all. But I was hungry and since she didn't ask any other questions, I asked her nicely that I'd like to switch my potato wedges for the oatmeal bar. She made some intangible comment about no one asking her that before and it took all I had to remain polite and say something along the lines of "Probably because you don't give them a chance to either..." She made the switch and again told me the total. Nothing else, just the total like last time. Inward sigh because I wanted an iced coffee but I felt rushed enough as is by now so I didn't ask for it. Told her I had a coupon to use. Scanned it and told me the new total. Didn't say another word to me after that. Also noting that the soda machine was out of a lot of things, just got water and found my food waiting on the counter. I got my food and ate, then left. I wanted to speak with someone over the crappy service but decided to just leave a review. Don't go here if you don't want bad service. This woman wasn't friendly in the slightest, I don't know her name but on my receipt it said Tara, not sure if that was her name. Short, older, hair in a bun, very sour attitude and looks aggravated at everything and everyone. Usually only go to this Wendy's where its close by but I won't be returning here. You guys need to train your employees on how to be more approachable, friendly, and to not rush their orders....or other people will also take their business elsewhere. I will also note any time I've had to place my order with this woman, she's also been very rude and rushed the order, unfriendly, acred like anything she had to do was a bother to her. I don't know if my review will be taken seriously because this Wendy's never takes anything seriously and food is usually wrong or cold but I thought I'd share...
Read moreMe and my daughters have eaten there usually once a week . I cook a lot but sometimes it is nice to take a day off, and we can all find something we like at Wendy's, and I think they're fairly priced, at least for the items we choose. And there had been a few people working there for years who were very friendly and got your order right. I don't see them anymore. Instead we have mostly young people and some of them are very sweet. But they don't listen very well. I have ordered a hamburger numerous times for my daughter. I've got to where I check before I leave. It is almost always a cheeseburger. The girl hates cheese. I ordered chocolate chip cookies and got raisin instead. And in the evening, I would order a cheeseburger deluxe for myself and I was starting to believe the bun was supposed to be toasted or hard as a rock. Like that was the signature difference you get a hard rock bun on the deluxe. There was no sign saying they close at 9 . And there should have been. Signs really help. I see it says 10 but the gentleman on the intercom said 9 and it was 9:06. For a place that closed I believe at midnight, it would be nice to let people know before they drove up to the intercom with their order ready. This is the most mixed review I've ever given because this place has been such a place of good memories over the years. I just think the company needs to train better, and maybe appreciate their employees when they are doing a great job. Also, I don't know the rules on this anymore. But the long wolverine finger claws with no gloves on , handing me my food... that's kinda unprofessional. At least make sure you have gloves on those babies if you're really allowed...
Read moreStopped by for lunch on our way back from vacation and we were very disappointed. I'm a firm believer that when you order food at a restaurant you're not only ordering the food but the atmosphere and service. And this atmosphere was not worth my money. When I walked in I saw 2 young ladies running the register, while my boyfriend and I were eyeing the menu the 2 girls paid no attention to us, and I was genuinely close to leave and spend my money elsewhere, but when we were ready to order the girls took the order and didn't ask any of the following; "what size drink", "what sides would you prefer", "for here or to go", "is that all?". In summary they were unresponsive.the food was ready in nearly 20 seconds. And rather than calling my order they threw it on the counter and said nothing. After recieving the food my boyfriend and I took a seat and the tables were decently gross. After finding a clean table we took a seat and began to eat our meal. After he took his fries out of the to go bag we saw mysterious gooey red stains on the container, and my burger seemed to be soggy and old as if it was prepared before which was disappointing. I also noticed my fries were cold and decided to go up and get a baked potato (which was my original plan if asked) but after waiting at the counter for a minute straight without service, I went back to my seat and finished what I could of my mediocre meal. Really regret my decision to go there, should've left and went where my service would be...
