Honestly best winery ever. We were sold on it in their tasting room in depot bay when we tasted a rose that we actually liked for the very first time. We join when we found out there was no membership fees beyond what the bottle(s) of wine of the month cost us. The owner is more than accommodating has even stayed open late for our parties to come out and taste wine. Has been kind enough to often deliver my bottle of wine or two or maybe seven depending on how many I buy. To my work place here in Salem when he has to come down on his own business which is inconvenient to him to go out of his way to do so. The staff are engaging and fun and in the know of what’s going on with the wine and happy to explain it. We have yet to taste a bad year. I’m sure it will happen this is wine but they make excellent wines! Sadly their depot bay tasting room had to close due to Covid. But I encourage you to go out and experience everything in Dundee. Take some snacks they allow them! I do recommend making reservations first though as they do get busy. Oh and one more big positive they are dog friendly as long as they’re well behaved members of canine society. They have a back porch and a fenced in yard which makes for some exciting times for the pooches. Seriously you can’t go wrong with someone...

We called just after 8am on Thanksgiving to see if by chance they were open, when no one answered we were not surprised, but then 30 seconds later we get a call back and he says he can be there in 15 minutes to meet us! One mixed box of wine later we are on the road and on our way to a much merrier Thanksgiving. Thank you!

Read moreI have been buying wine from Fox Farm since they had a popup tasting in Newburg in a space shared with Purple Cow. Pilot Noir comes in a spectrum with a color that ranges from light red to deep purple. Fox Farm Pinot is at the light colored and I prefer it over the its darker cousins and is an excellent example of its kind. I also drink a lot of their Pinot Gris. It is priced at a level that I can afford it at least once a week and is again an excellent example of Oregon Pinot Gris. The tasting room at the north end of Dundee is easy to miss, and looks unimposing but very worthwhile...
