I ordered online for delivery on Monday Jan 3 at 9:05pm the total order was. $15.59. I was sent text messages stating my order would arrive at 9:35 pm and my driver was Bradley B. My card was charged to Wendys digital for the total amount of$15.59 and I was given a link to track my order. At 9:30 I received a text saying that my order was canceled due to an issue with the dasher. I called the local store to ask about getting my money back and they told me I paid a 3rd party, not them. Then they told me I would not be charged and that it would fall off and not be collected by Wendy's in the 3 day time frame. I looked at the web site and in my order history it showed as a completed order and my bank showed that in fact I did pay Wendys digital not anyone else.. I did speak with door dash and they told me I had to contact the contact us page on the Wendys web site. I did that and I called the number provided but it was after hours so I left a message on the sites email complaint /feedback form with no response. I then called the number 3 more times on Tues and wed and went through the automated system and was placed on hold and nobody ever answered the call. I left 2 more emails on the feedback/complaint form and still no reply as of Friday Jan 7th. I was charged and the money came off my bank statement as completed on Thursday the 6th my bank was called to start a dispute and for some reason decided the charges would stay on my account. So I did not receive my order and am out$15.59 that Wendys collected and left me with no way to get a refund for the merchandise or service I never even received. I will never order mobile orders anywhere again and I am now never eating at Wendys again. Their local store should have known how to answer my question and they didn't even know anything about them collecting that money or the order which was coming from that location. And the corporate office is a joke! I still want my refund this is unacceptable and I would never use their bogus website again. I'm...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI stopped at this particular Wendy's last night around 11 and placed an order with the drive thru window. There was only one car ahead of me waiting for their food order. After sitting behind this vehicle for 10 minutes, a red head worker with long hair and pale skin proceeded to stick her head out the window and converse with the boys in the car. Eventually, I rolled down my car window to hear their conversation and heard the red-head's disappointment in not receiving a "blunt" from the driver. She then asked which other frosty flavors they would like that she could grab them for free. After 5 minutes, I honked and witnessed the red-head look back and me...laugh... and say," that woman behind you is really upset you're just sitting here." She then turned and continued her conversation with the boys. I am embarrassed for her and for whomever owns this establishment. After 20 minutes of being ignored, I just drove away without my meal. As I made a u-turn down the road to head to Mcdonalds instead, I noticed an 8 car line at the Wendy's drive-thru and the red-head sticking her body almost entirely through the window to continue her completely discussing flirting session with the same vehicle of boys. Please fire that idiot and hire someone who can function normally at 11pm at...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe went inside because Drive thru was so long. We walked in to see they were extremely under staffed. We have no problem with waiting, and as worker they were moving as fast as they could go. But Angel working the register in between making orders, was not changing her gloves. She checked us out, touched screen, took one glove off, and then touched cups, fryer baskets and fries and nuggets holders. All with the same glove still on. And then went straight to making our sandwiches with out changing said glove. Pointed this out to a worker, who went to her and said something. She then grabbed two new gloves, without making new sandwiches which were all already cross contaminated. This also happened with the gentleman in front of me. Along with others workers grabbing fryer handles, walking through the back with gloves on and not changing them. And who knows after we left, what other orders were handled this way. I understand some people being inpatient and this stressing the workers. But we understand short staffed, but that doesn't mean you can handle food unsafely. Take your time, handle one customer at a time and handle our food properly. We will be paying close attention to how you guys handle my food...
