McDonald's — Restaurant in Dunmore

This McDonald's is by far a joke I am not surprised in the least bit about that rating the unfortunate part is ladies there like Grace or Nina who are professional and who do get your order right the first time have to take comments like I'm about to give I went out of my way to research and find out their names now that I've done that I will never step foot in that McDonald's again especially that drive-thru window those younger girls that you have working there are the most distasteful disrespectful classless group of girls I've ever seen in my life they're constantly fighting with customers I've seen it almost every time I've been there especially that blonde one with the long ponytail not to be confused with the other one because there's another one that looks just like her but she is respectful and kind and always get your order right they give you attitude if you check your food to make sure it's correct but the truth is your food is never correct there because they're so busy arguing and fighting with customers that they're not focused and making sure they're putting the right things where they need to be I think the upper management needs to have a talk with these girls and you need to have a talk with some of your management team because I've personally watched one of the women there pretty much high-fiving the girls for disrespecting a customer especially that blonde one I wish I knew her name I would have called her in a few times it does boil down to management if they didn't allow her and a few others like her to act the way they act and they fired them for that stuff as they should be then maybe your rating wouldn't be so low I personally will never step foot or the drive-thru in that place again my neighbor also passes that and goes to another one way down the road just to avoid those girls at the end of the day it's up to you what you do but they're only going to get worse and you're only going to continue to lose customers and have low ratings if this...

RUDE! I GET THAT THE YOUNG PEOPLE TODAY DON'T HAVE THE PERSONALITY SKILLS THAT SOME OF US HAVE, BUT WHEN YOU ROLL UP TO A DRIVE-THRU MIND YOU THIS IS GOING TO BE THE THIRD TIME THAT I'VE ROLLED UP TO THIS DRIVE-THRU AT THIS TIME OF NIGHT AROUND 9:50 P.M., AND ALL THEY SAY TO YOU WHEN YOU ROLL UP IS WHAT CAN I GET YOU IN THE MOST RUDE UNPLEASANT UNWELCOMING VOICE, I ALWAYS BITE MY TONGUE WITH THIS BECAUSE I DON'T LIKE TO TAKE THINGS PERSONALLY BUT AT THE SAME TIME TODAY WHEN I ROLLED UP AND THEY SAID WHAT COULD I GET YOU, THEY WERE EXCESSIVELY RUDE IN THEIR TONE I WANTED THE MCFLURRY, AND THEY'RE IMMEDIATE RESPONSE WAS WE DON'T HAVE ICE CREAM., I LITERALLY HAD TO TAKE A PAUSE FOR A SECOND BECAUSE I'M JUST SO THROWN AWAY BY HOW PEOPLE TREAT PEOPLE THESE DAYS AND THIS IS A PLACE THAT PEOPLE DO GET PAID PRETTY WELL AT MCDONALD'S, BETTER THAN ME ACTUALLY WHEN I WAS WORKING IN THE HOTEL INDUSTRY, AND OUR JOB IS TO BE CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTED MAKING PEOPLE FEEL WELCOME TO COME TO YOUR LOCATION, WELL I DON'T WANT TO COME TO YOUR LOCATION ANYMORE BECAUSE IT WAS RUDE NOW DO I CARE THAT YOU DIDN'T HAVE ICE CREAM NO BUT YOU COULD HAVE SAID IT IN A NICER WAY AND YOU COULD SAY THINGS LIKE WELCOME TO MCDONALD'S LIKE WHEN I'M PUTTING EFFORT INTO BEING NICE AND KIND TO YOU SAYING HOW IS YOUR EVENING GOOD EVENING, JUST KIND WORDS THAT EVERY NORMAL CIVILIZED PERSON WOULD USE YOU SHOULD RESPOND WITH THE EXACT SAME THING ESPECIALLY WORKING IN THAT TYPE OF FIELD BUT THAT'S NOT THE WAY THAT THEY RESPONDED THEY WERE RUDE THIS IS THE THIRD TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED AND THIS IS THE ONLY TIME THAT I'M GOING THERE BECAUSE I'M NO LONGER GOING TO THIS LOCATION, THANK YOU HOPE PEOPLE CAN LEARN FROM...

After spending all night in the hospital with my children, their father was in a serious car accident and underwent multiple surgeries that night, I was wiped out emotionally and physically. I thought the quickest place to get food for us was to go through this drive thru. I didn't have my debit card on me, cash only. I ended up being 4 cents short when I went to pay. I was frantically digging around my car for 4 pennies and was holding the line up, unintentionally. My three small children and myself were in the car all cried out and exhausted...it was MY job as their mommy to get them food. I asked the young girl at the first window if I could pull off to the side and dig around my car more and she said, " Well, no because then you'll loose your spot and we will have to cancel your order." I was now in tears, embarrassed to no end. Then I asked her if she could pleasee allow me to stay in the line and retrive my food..then I would park, locate four pennies from inside my car, and run them inside to her. She said, " No. We aren't allowed to do that." Then she shut the window on me and that was that. I totally understand laws and rules but this wasn't four dollars. This was 4 cents! My three children were crying now saying they were starving. I know my personal issues aren't your concern, but I feel like young kids these days are forgetting to use a little bit of kindness toward others. I would have pulled 4 pennies from my pocket and paid the difference if I was in her shoes that day. That upset me so bad, since that day that I haven't been back. We have been long-time customers there and I am disappointed in the lack of kindness the workers their are...
