New China Star — Restaurant in Dunmore

Thank God this place is good because it's the closest to home! I rarely eat Chinese because I need to be in the mood for it wich isn't often it's really not a favorite of mine but I always get it here when I do want it for sure! my fiance hower is obsessed with chinese food & this place and would probably eat here every day if he could! The food is always hot, fresh, and delicious, They have a little station with sauces out so you can have as much as you want when usually other Chinese restaurants are skimpy on the sauce, It's clean, all the employees are very nice and friendly especially the youngest guy he's my favorite and I'm embarrassed I forget his name because he's told me but he's so sweet and funny! He also gave me a $20 tip when I was working at the subway across the street in Joe's gas station that was very kind and generous not many people would ever do that most don't tip at all and are rude! We have been ordering food from here for at least 8 years. Today they forgot my sweet and sour sauce for my food. I politely called back said my sauce is missing. They said I’m sorry and someone will bring you some. 2 hours later still no sauce. I call again they said it’s on it’s way. I waited for another 25 minutes and still nothing. I call again, I explained my food is cold and I want a refund for my food. They told me to microwave it, I explained it’s no longer crispy it’s soggy. They tried to say the driver dropped it off on the porch. It’s not there. Finally she says I refunded your money but we’re not bringing the sauce. I had been of New China Star for years, ordering from there since I was in highschool over 10 years ago. The service has always been quick and polite. However in recent years the quality started to waiver. I would order my usual items and then find them unsatisfying. Lots of the time something just seemed off, some inconsistencies in the style of cooking or portions. Nowadays I received orders missing multiple items, and the restaurant only offers to take down a name and offer a free something next time. They never remember to write the name down so it's just money lostm The last three times I ordered the pork was off. I mean Really Bad; my husband gagged from the boneless spare ribs being so rancid.
