We used the Wendy's app. It is difficult to get delivery to our area. Kids love Wendy's, despite the general decline over the years. We made the order and it said 35 min delivery. Order was made at about 845 pm to a store open until 12 am at least. To clarify, order was complete and paid at that time, not just started. Left the app and continued the night. Got a message to hubby's phone around 920 saying on its way. Later than expected, but it's too late to change restaurants. Food arrives at 10 pm exactly, without any drinks and missing ordered condiments. Thankfully, we did get straws and spoons. The food was all cold (all, not even lukewarm) with a tinge of messy (burgers wet and sloppy). The delivery service told us to cancel the order and they would refund us (somehow thought it was Wendy's delivery, but we now realize Wendy's uses Doordash). There is no ability to do this through the Wendy's app, so we called Wendy's. We were told they would refund $16 for drinks. I don't know about y'all, but part of the joy of consuming high calorie fast food is being able to enjoy your beverage of choice with your cold fries. Now we get cold food and no drinks. Really? And, we later realized that they never intended on sending drinks. The first delivery message was already a different price than the paid order. We didn't notice at first because the order was made on a different phone than the delivery number given. So they pretended they were giving a refund when they had already decided at 920 that they were not sending the drinks. And it appears they simply removed the taxes and fees from the subtotal. All this to say, no more Wendy's. We keep going to different stores hoping it's better and it...
Read moreHonestly very disappointed in this location. I used to always have good service but today was so bad, I will never go here again.
I drive a tractor trailer and wanted some lunch. I parked in a legal spot and walked a large distance to get some food. When I walked in, there was a sign in the dining room that said it was only open for mobile orders and deliveries. I forgot my phone in my truck and was already 10 minutes into my lunch. A very concerned worker (the only reason this is 2 stars and not 1) greeted me at the counter and told me I needed to order on my phone. I told him I forgot my phone in my truck. He asked if I was in a tractor trailer, to which I said yes. He wanted to help so he said he'd tell his manager.
This is when things went bad. The manager said to the other worker I needed to order online. He told her I forgot my phone. She said I needed to go through the drive threw. He said I'm in a tractor trailer and I couldn't fit. She then said there's nothing she could do.
Even though I was paying with a card and needed no change, there was nothing she could do. Fair enough.
The bad service is in the zero apology, zero ambition to help, and zero care at all in my situation. I purposely took my lunch here to get food, and could not make it back to my truck, order, and pick up food before my lunch break was over. The manager did nothing to help. I understand worker shortages, and busy lunch hours but the way this was handled was pretty badly.
If you are in a truck either make sure you order online, or go across the street to McDonald's. They will actually help you.
If anyone from Wendy's actually cares, this was on 10/29/2021 at...
Read moredarkness has reigned this evening, i realized as i sit upon my porcelain throne. i ponder, what have i done to deserve this? consistently receiving the incorrect items i paid for. this is a regular thing at this wendy’s location.. it has come to be now unexpected to receive what i actually ordered. however, this time, even as polite as i always am to fast food workers, it breaks my heart in twain to have to express my grievances to the public. ye, i was wrongfully served for the final time at this establishment. as i write this, twenty-seven minutes past seven in the evening. i surrendered over to the drive through cashier a ticket for x1 free frosty junior. the thought of receiving a sweet and free iced treat after a long day at work from a tiny booklet for donating to the dave thomas foundation… nothing was free… except for the pain and misery brought forth. ye, on this day, the second moon of october of the year two thousand and twenty-three, i have been done dirty by the staff of this establishment for the final time. for you see, after presenting my free frosty coupon i was still charged 1.06 for the frozen treat. now, i am not one to complain of such trivials, however, it is the principle of the matter. this wendy’s location shall now be cursed for all eternity, until i am rectified with either $1.06 or a true...
