I wanted to write a fair constructive review after patiently waiting for this place to open.
I love cafes in the area, such as Drip, Coffee Garden, Retro, etc. I've had it all.
I saw the upper part wasn't renovated yet, so I assume some of the tables and chairs will be moved up there and provide some breathing space.
The coffee was unlabeled, even with a marker, and you gave straw lids for cold foam. The sip lids are supposed to be used with cold foam and a marker would help for familiess or couples getting similar orders.
Not serving breakfast after 11 is just freaking stupid. Every cafe I know makes breakfast items ALL DAY. I almost laughed in the cashiers face when he told me that. I'll come in after I work all day I'll wash your egg skillet if it's THAT hard. Get a grip. Oh, and it was 11:53 when I came in, yet I saw egg sandwiches at the kitchen window being served. So either he lied or it took 53 minutes to get a sandwich...
Your prices are insane. 2 sandwiches and 2 coffees for 40 dollars plus a tip? Are you high? I understand people need living wages. I firmly stand by that, but if those are the prices you need to charge, you need to reevaluate everything. I can go to other family owned small restaurants and pay under 30 bucks.
This point is less sassy and pretty serious. The parking. If you guys sort this out and maintain good customer traffic, you are definitely going to piss off the residential neighborhood you are attached to. I would heavily consider chatting with the business across the road to use their parking space. Just be conscious of it is all I ask. I'd be insanely mad if my parking spot I had for years was suddenly getting taken by customers. I mean listen to me over an egg sandwich.
Oh, and lastly, ya'll used AI art on the wall. The one lady holding a phone has a misshapen hand. Go spend 100 bucks on some local art at a craft show and win over some hearts.
That's my honest blunt review. I understand starting ANY business is a huge venture and takes ironing out. It won't be magically 100% proficient and well oiled out of the gate.
I'll be back in a month or two and update...
Read moreAmazing new local coffee and breakfast/lunch spot! The atmosphere is very eclectic/kitschy with beautiful antique chandeliers and lots of interesting design choices. Prices are about the aerage of what you'd expect for the area
Went on a Saturday morning with my friend--the place was pretty jam packed but we managed to get a table to eat. The avocado toast I had was so fresh and made with big chunks of avocado which I appreciated and my friend was raving about her nutella crepes. The tiramisu iced latte I had was on point. The staff was super friendly and multiple people checked in our table as we ate to make sure everything was okay; special shout out to the tall guy I think is the manager that was taking orders. Was really nice and helpful despite there being a big line to the door.
We will definitely be back for breakfast and to try the lunch menu...
Read moreEmployees were so wonderful, very kind and seemed more than happy to help. The older gentleman who was cleaning tables and delivering food was so sweet and recommended us a freshly made pumpkin scone which was delicious. Got a sandwich which clearly had quality ingredients- the tomatoes were delicious. Coffee and matcha were good, the chai was interesting-herbal and earthy. A bit crowded but the outdoor seating and huge open doors made it seem a little more open. The artwork was mostly nice, the weird AI stuff threw me off because it did not fit the vibe but I did purchase a very nice painting from a local artist they had on the wall! Overall very...
