I'm writing this review as a customer that's visited probably 1-3 times a week from July 2020 thru February 2021. I usually ordered a #1 (double cheeseburger meal with fries and a sweet tea).
If you happen to order just as the burgers and fries were made, then the food can be amazing. Ground beef is from the tube that's pre-rolled. No issues there since the burgers are (if lucky) cooked right as you order.
If your fries have been sitting in their individual bags, then expect soggy fries (hot fries with no ventilation because they wrap the bags up means all that steam gets trapped and turns your fries soggy). If your getting one of the burgers from aforementioned warming drawer from the other review, then you're going to get a dry and luke warm burger.
If the owners changed up their game plan and made all meals to order, everything would be amazing. I would gladly wait 5-10 minutes for a good burger and fries that are piping hot. I would also pay slightly more knowing that everything is made to order using real ground beef.

Read moreI have been coming in weekly for last couple of months after my doctor's appointment in Dunn. I can honestly say I am going to miss going to the doctor because I always follow it up with a trip to Sherry's. Their Fried Brightleaf Hotdogs on a steamed bun (get mine ATW, add mayo n extra onions) are by far the BEST I have found in Harnett/Lee Counties. And the price for 6 hotdogs of this quality is unbeatable, 9 dollars and some change with tax. The slaw and chilli are both on point, and to our family those 2 things can make or break a hotdog. They also have the bakery side. Which I try to get a different variety of sweets every visit. I find I always HAVE to get the Oatmeal Cookies (puts Little Debbie's Oatmeal Cookies to shame), the Apple Jacks or Fritters-yum, 10 layer Chocolate Cake Slices, and their Cream filled, Glazed Doughnuts. But we haven't had ANY thing food or dessert wise that isn't good. If I could tell you to try just 1 thing- those hotdogs. Out of 8 or 10 visits, and we haven't had a missed or wrong topping yet. The ladies are always nice n pleasant as they can be while working...
Read moreAs a staple of the area you'd expect more. I've been observing the place for over a month and a few things I've learned are: they cant keep staff (get paid bare minimum), all cakes are frozen, they make 30+ burgers at a time and put them in a warming drawer, (this making them dry and cold by the time you get them), they are more worried about quantity than quality, the line staff are almost always in a bad mood from some drama, and they just lost their cake decorator that made it worth it. (You can tell she left by the look of the cakes and cake pops, they look terrible compared to what was being put out before Valentine's day) lastly the talk of the town is that the current owners didn't even want the shop. They only took over after their father could no longer work because no one else would. And man does it show. Countless people are saying even the donuts taste bad now. Or that it seems they've switched to doing things cheeper. I wouldn't even bother coming as you're bound to be...
