So my husband and I have been eating here since they opened. Back when the Sunrise tofu was $14.99. We adored our food and it’s our special meal because it’s not cheap but the quantity means I get two meals out of my meal. Not yesterday. Yesterday I had Les veggies than normal and my tofu wasn’t the normal filling amazing norm it was flat and dry. My husband got his favorite the pineapple fried rice with tofu and his tofu was also dry. For two meals equaling $39.50 and we normally get two meals out of it so we justified it at $10 a meal. $20 a meal for less and dried out protein isn’t worth it and we won’t be back. I don’t know what else changed but I also woke up with my throat so dry it was I had been sodium bombed or something. I feel awful. Not food poisoning but how you feel when you’ve had poor quality high sodium food the night before. Such a shame because before this we considered this...
Read moreGreat spot that produces great tasting food. They were costly but after getting my food fresh and hot and truly enjoying it I can’t stress it’s a must try. Also their menu is fairly simple not a lot of complicated meals and that makes it easy to order and enjoy which is another reason to try them. The staff was friendly the place was clean and to say I’m writing this the day after and yes I did eat the leftovers my whole family did without even asking each other to do so. The vegetables were fresh not smushy and did not appear to be previously frozen. The basil was fresh and the sauce was not overpowering. One caution I give is to work your way up the spice meter they are using fresh ingredients and you will taste it. Overall it’s a must try even if you...
Read moreSaw the good reviews and decided to give it a try and was incredibly disappointed. Wasn’t given a spice option, found out it was just assumed I wanted no spice when I got the receipt and told this was standard (even though the menu has spice options). Swimming rama sauce tasted like melted peanut butter with heaps of added sugar. Basil eggplant was overly sweet with no spice or flavor. Both dishes were inedible and had to be returned. Ended up paying 16.79 for a single small Thai tea and 5 tiny greasy spring rolls- it’s honestly laughable how much we were charged for so little. As a Thai person, I can say the little I tried was no where near authentic and hardly any of it was...
