4/25: Not the best Chinese restaurant within 150 miles of the four corners IMO, but certainly in the top three. 4/2021 : Quite possibly the best Chinese restaurant within 150 miles of the four corners. They have access to the proper spices and aren't afraid to use them. No mush filled frozen food service egg rolls here. They roll their own - never frozen. Best General Tso Chicken I've had since travelling outside the area pre-virus.

Update 12/2021: now definitely the best Chinese in the four corners. I've tried them all and while most of the others have gone downhill since the virus this place continues to excel. A pleasure to be able to write a favorable review for a change. These folks have the correct spices and they are not afraid to use them. The food actually tastes pretty much as one experienced with Chinese restaurants outside this farkakta culinary wasteland they call the four corners would expect. Arrived at high noon on a weekday. Place was packed but was able to get a seat in under 5 minutes. First class kung bao chicken. Generous portion from the lunch menu with drink for about $13. They have an all you can eat mongolian buffet cooked in sight. Have not tried it, but looks and smells good. Men's rest room looked as if it had just...

Sooooo, I need to start by saying--- if you order the grill part of this buffet, it will absolutely serve you to read the description on how to prepare the sauces for this all you can eat buffet. Although it "appears" about 9 sauces are prepared, this is not the case-- you must read the 5 parts mixology to include the ladle of wine, ladle of oils/fats that will compliment a mild, sweet or heat sauce. If you only do the "teriyaki sauce" for beef, it will burn off without the other components that help attach to the food. That being said, I found the food not tasty because I did not know this going into this restaurant. Additionally the grill master uses two long wooden tongs to flip various meats at various stages of cooking so I'm not incredibly sure about cooking length for each protein being flipped around. My partner and I both had bathroom breaks within 45 minutes of eating there and I did eat pork and beef while my partner stuck strictly to a vegetarian plate of products. Service was fast, feeding 4 adults and 4 children was about $110 so not unreasonable in price. We also ordered egg rolls and orange chicken for the kiddos and kept the young ones away...

Came in when it was packed. Didn't feel like waiting at some random seating area near the kitchen for an available table so I took the only one available that no one wanted to sit at by the front door. Was tolerable until one too many people kept going in and out of the restaurant and that got annoying so we just scarfed our appetizers and had the rest of our food to go. I was hoping to eat in peace but there is no peace here, too much commotion. Got an upset tummy 45 minutes after we left when we got home. It wasn't any cleaner nor better than subway next door. I asked for kids drinks and was given regular sized drinks in which they charged me $4 per drink totalling $20 for 4 drinks alone with not one refill - ridiculous! The plaza is filthy! There is no concern for their customers or respect enough to apologize for the over crowdedness and especially not being checked on. They could've at least offered hot tea on the house!! Don't waste your money here you all!!!! Go somewhere else where they cook and serve with love!!!! Never again will I come back here!!!! Rude...

Eating in: food and service is generally good though as a white person ordering spicy menu options in person i find a lack of spice to be present in my meal. Literally no heat. I don't appreciate the white girl treatment when I want to light my tastebuds on fire. I can handle it. If you are that wary of complaints, implement a spice scale like most asian restaurants do. Ordering online: likely to get your order wrong. I ordered from them tonight thinking to treat myself on a Friday. I ordered beef chow mein and egg rolls. What I received was pork and not chow mein. Looks like maybe pad thai or another soft rice noodle. I do not eat pork because it makes me nauseous. I cannot eat what i was delivered besides the rice and egg rolls. Waste of money and a big dissapointment. If i decide to give mongolian grill another chance, I will stick to tofu because they are unlikely to mix that up with pork. Now i will say the food was delivered still warm and with good timing.

This is a great restaurant in Durango. The atmosphere here is amazing. We checked the reviews and one of the great items on their menu is The Mongolian Fried Rice. We ordered Shrimp friend rice and Beef fried rice which was super tasty delicious fried rice. We recommend their fried rice. But the Kung Pao chicken we ordered was much different. The meat was not well cooked. It didn’t taste good at all and we didn’t feel any spice to it. Some of their dishes you really have to try to see if you like it or not. Overall, a lot of people goes to this restaurant to enjoy great Asian Cuisine. We definitely recommend the fried rice everyone must try in this place.

This place is phenomenal! We came here for the Mongolian Stir Fry BBQ buffet but decided to order off the menu instead and it was delicious! We got teriyaki beef on-stick as an appetizer and they brought it out with this little bitty "cauldron" with a blue fire burning it. So much fun! We definitely didn't expect anything so "fancy" at a place so affordable. Great staff and great service too. Can't wait to come back!
