Top Donuts — Restaurant in Durant

I rarely rate all categories 5-star. I'm very critical. They might have gotten a 2 or three if price was one of them but I have to say that, if you want the best in town and don't mind near boutique level prices, this place is great and the owners have about the best attitude toward customer service. I'm a tightwad so I might be biased toward another place but these guys wipe the floor with a donut place over on University. Top Donuts are right up there with Winchell's, Yum Yum, and Dunkin. The service here was so good, and so are the donuts! I didn't get their names, but the guy helped me while the girl was helping someone else, and he was very helpful and patient with me even though I asked a million questions. Right when I was leaving, the girl said, "Hey, do you like strawberry?" I said yes, and she gave me one for free! She said, "It looks so good, and I want you to try it! It's fresh!" I visit this place about once a week. They hardly ever make mistakes with my order and they fix them if they do. Their donuts are delicious and not too heavy. They have character donuts as well for the kiddos. The Okie Special they serve is also delicious. The employees always remember my toddlers and greet them. It's nice to have that small town feeling with Durant growing as rapidly as it is. The price point is about the same as other donut shops...
