We ordered food from Happy China for take out. At home we served our food indoors in a bug-free environment. My son found a bug in the sauce of his General Tso's chicken. It was about an inch long with wings. At that point dinner for my 6 kids was OVER. I went back with everything that we didn't eat. It was a lot of food that I brought back. and I brought back the plate with foil over it with the bug. I calmly and kindly told the very flamboyant tall Asian man that there was a bug in the food. I was about to show him the bug covered in sauce. He dismissed me saying he didn't want to deal with me. He started to talk to the person behind me. After he helped the person behind me he proceeded to tell the women workers that came back to the front stand that I was scammer. He spoke Chinese but clearly said scammer 2 times and walked away and glared at me. I told the women that I'm a mother I'm not a scammer. I showed them the sauce covered bug. They were nice and seemed to believe me and gave me my money back immediately. I then told them I need to talk to the manager and they told me they were busy right now. I said it's very important i talk to them now. Finally what was possibly the manager came out and apologize to me. I told her that I don't make these things up and that we didn't even eat much of the food . She apologized and I told her I had a problem with the man who called me a scammer and was rude to me and she said this is his last day. But she then would say "I think" it's his last day. I just can't get myself to eat Happy China again. It's now "Unhappy China"

Service: 4/5. The waitress wasn't available as much as you might want but when she did check in on us we were always brought more water. She asked us how our meal was twice during our time there. Cleanliness: 2/5. I was very disappointed as you can see from the pictures below. Inside our menu lay long black hairs and trash from someone elses meal. Turned the page and dried, crusted on rice had been stuck between the pages. More hair behind the plastic menu sleeves. Our table was even filthy. They cover the tables with paper for a quick and easy change, however ours had stains from previous meals all over it. And that wasn't limited to our own table but others within our vicinity as well. Finally, there were left over dried food particles on the outside of my glass. Better attention to detail when it comes to cleaning needs to be taking place. Price: 3/5. I ordered a shrimp scallion pancake with squid and "crab" (fake) meat mixed in. What I get however, is a premade/boxed waffle bowl, much like you'd use for ice cream (no scallion pancake) - at about the size of two balled up fists. $20 just for that. My wife ordered pork scallion. Imagine 3 slices. Not half a pound. Not 5 or 6 slices. Nope, just 3 thin pieces of bacon chopped up and mixed with green onions and jalapenos. $16. The sweet and sour fish ($13) was really the only good value. $50 total. Over priced. Quality. 3/5. Tally everything up...I might come back but the price is killing me. I'm not sure I could afford to. Moreover the cleaning habits need to be revisited.

We ordered Pekin duck, which was a bad choice. The few pieces of duck all cut up with skin( Pekin duck supposed to have skin separated from meat and served with pan cakes, plum sauce and green onions) is definitely not half of the duck we ordered. It was dey and old as if reheated in the microwave. We returned it and asked for correction as we thought it must have been an misunderstanding. Well, we learned that that's the way they serve their Pekin duck. We also ordered some chicken wings for the kids but a couple of them were not done. Seafood casserole was completely flavorless. We we're honestly surprised and couldn't wait to leave. We also ordered the lotus and spare ribs soup but it was brought out without any small soup bowls to serve or spoons. Just like we were not offered any saucer plates until we asked. This is all after the soup and dishes we're brought out and sitting on the table for about 5 min. That's when we realized we won't have saucer and soup bowls to eat unless we asked for them. At this point, there's only one other table in the restaurant. The restaurant is almost empty. This is our first time there. We don't know how it was in the past but this experience is definitely terrifying. We will not come back again for sure. I didn't even check what the health score is!
