Mr. Fries Man — Restaurant in Durham

I'm giving 5 stars because of my first experience. A young fellow prepared my order of garlic parmesan fries. You heard the fries hit the grease and the spatula abrasing the grill. And omg what flavors this dish had was so satisfying and tasty. I had to go back cause it was so good. However, a young lady was at the counter and took my order. I see she's the one preparing it also. I hear fries drop in the grease but not for long. No grill going. She quickly gets my fries and prepares my order at a station. I'm like ok well, they probably already have my ingredients prepped for quick assemble, which clearly it was. I received my order and it was trash. Those items at that station was trash. The chicken was like jerky, so dry I couldn't even tell if I had taken a bite of bacon, but it was chicken. A heap of non crispy fries that should had been cooked longer. Hardly any sauce for the amount of soft fries included in my entrée, just a total disappointment. I really should had took extra time to drive back to the restaurant to make the complaint, but finding another parking spot across the street and walking there again was not in the plans so I just dealt with my order. I did a whole review on MR. fries man on my TikTok. My TikTok is beauty_baby45 but anyways So Durham is about a hour away from me. I went to Mr.Fries Man yesterday and let me tell you the food and the customer service did not disappoint at all. First off I’m allergic to eggs so it’s hard for me to find good places to eat at I wanted to try some of the sauces that MR. Fries has but I was nervous because of my egg allergy. So I ask one of the ladies who was working the cash register and I told her about my allergy. She said I got you and she doubled checked to make sure the sauce didn’t have any egg products in it. And it didn’t I’m was so happy. Because for a hour drive I really wanted to try this place out. I didn’t want to go back home disappointed. But anyways I got the build your own fries! I got back,steak, cheese and honey garlic sauce. And when I tell you them fries was amazing I mean I never rated fries like that before. I’m definitely going back. Now here is my pros & cons on MR fries man

Pros: fries are good, customer service was on point, the building was nice and clean the workers had masks on. And the honey garlic sauce was amazing.

Cons: they give you more toppings than fries 🤷🏾‍♀️ I would have liked more fries.
