I've been coming to this Panera since it opened. I was excited for the opening because there's practically nothing of substance in this area when it comes to food. I order breakfast via the drive-thru about 2-3 days a week, sometimes more sometimes less. And on rare occasions, I go in the restaurant for lunch because I don't care for the food that much anymore. This brings me to my point of why I'm writing this poor review. Panera Bread in general has gone downhill since it first introduced itself. I have eaten from multiple locations across state lines and the experience have become the same in a negative way. The food quality has declined, as well as the salad portion size, and the food is prepared like my 10-month old had her way with it. This Panera is no different. When I first started going here, there was always an issue with my order and the lady Tina (who I haven't seen in a while) would never take your MyPanera card number. I would practically have to force it on her every order. Now there's someone new every morning at the drive-thru (can't remember her name), and I have to repeat myself 3-4 times just for a caramel latte (NO whip cream, NO foam, and EXTRA damn caramel), with either a plain toasted bagel (NO butter nor cream cheese, just plain and toasted), and/or either a blueberry muffin, and/or either a scrambled egg and cheese on a brioche (NO damn bacon), and/or a chocolate chip cookie. It's the same order every time I go. How hard is that?!?? One time they gave me a raisin bagel. Like, really?!! I always order the same drink, and may add either 1 or 2 of the food items I mentioned to go with it, and they just can't seem to get it right. Then, the 20 minute wait!!! And by the way, the proper service introduction shouldn't be CAN I help you? No, you can't, I'm just here for the sake of it (sarcasm). It's HOW can I help you? Just the worst! I dropped off eating lunch from Panera as a whole; I'm on my way out with breakfast too. Ridiculous for such a...
Read moreOn March 23 I placed an online order for delivery. When the order arrived the half gallon green tea I ordered was missing. The driver didn't even knock on the door as I requested. I only knew my order was on my doorstep because my neighbor knocked on the door and told me. I called Panera and explained what happened to me. The associate offered me a FULL refund for my terrible experience. Of course this is after she attempted to contact the driver after several minutes of being on hold. The associate told me my refund should arrive in 2 to 3 days. I bank with USAA and anyone who banks with them knows they process refunds fast. After 3 days I contact Panera. They claimed it was still processing. I gave it 2 more days and called back and was once told again it was still processing. Fast forward to yesterday I contacted them and guess what? It's still processing....so at this I've had enough so I contact corporate and now I'm being told it could take up to 30 days to get my refund because their refund system is "backed up"....I was born at night not last night so I know when I'm being given the run around. I was never really a fan of panera bread but my fiancée likes to eat there so I decided to join her that day. Needless to say I'm not messing with them anymore. How do you offer a customer a full refund then after a week It's still "pending"....that's nice talk for "we aren't refunding your money "....I'm done with em....and anyone who reads this and orders online for delivery I have one word for you....BEWARE!!....If your order is screwed up and they offer a full refund or any kind of refund just go looking for Jimmy Hoffa because you'll find him before you get...
Read moreI can't stand visiting this Panera. Inevitably, something is always wrong with an order. From missing/incorrect items to once waiting in the 'rapid pick-up' parking spot for 10 minutes just to go inside to get my order, something always is wrong. What broke the straw this time was an online order I placed for 6 bagels and a tub of cream cheese. The app indicated it would be ready in 5 minutes. I arrived in 10 but got notification there was a delay. So I waited, no problem. 15 minutes after my order was placed, I received notification my order was ready. I found this odd since my order was not on the pick-up shelf and I saw no one working on the order.
I went to the counter and was asked which order I was waiting on. When I gave my name, only then did the employee walk over to the bakery and get the bagels. I was perturbed at this point that I began writing this review. While on my phone, the employee must've placed the bagel tub on the counter and walked away because I looked up from my phone to see my order on the counter. I checked the receipt and everything was marked off to indicate the order had been reviewed by staff for accuracy. Simple enough, considering it was just 6 sliced bagels and a tub of cream cheese. But I decided to double-check the box and do you think the tub of cream cheese was in there?
So I walk over to the bakery counter where 4 employees were gathered and pointed out that the receipt was marked off but I was still missing the cream cheese. And finally, 20 minutes after placing my order, I walked out.
Anyone that's gotten this far on my review, just do yourself a favor and go to a...
