Ricky’s pizza is delicious, Ricky’s BUSINESS PRACTICES ARE CRIMINAL. NEVER PUT YOUR CARD ON FILE with Ricky’s Pizza. I have been ordering pizza from Ricky’s for 6 months now. We noticed several months back that the charges on our card for 2 pizzas were getting excessive (sometimes over $50). We were told during deliveries that we could not leave a tip on the receipt, which we were never given. We started noticing our total over the phone was not matching the amounts debited the next day. Last night I finally got a receipt in my hands, which the driver was very reluctant to hand to me even after I saw it and asked for it. It had a blank tip line and a total of $35.23. This morning my bank statement showed Ricky’s charged me $40.23 I took my receipt and bank statement to Ricky’s and spoke with Ricky himself. He first balled my receipt up and tried to throw it away, while telling me that there was a standard delivery fee. Which I knew was already included and detailed on my receipt totaling $35.23. After going in circles, he changed his story and told me that he personally had authorized $5 tip for every delivery I ordered so that he didn’t lose drivers from not being tipped. He showed me on his computer screen in his notes on my file that he personally had authorized my card for this tip amount without my consent. I spent 13 years in the restaurant industry and I typically tip excessively. Regardless of this, if I was purposefully stiffing all of his drivers, it is still illegal and fraudulent for him to enter a tip that I did not consent to. He has been doing this to me for months, and I guarantee I am not the only one. The most concerning part is that he seems to think that I am the problem and that what he is doing is completely acceptable. He was not remotely interested in keeping me as a customer or rectifying the wrong doing. I have now disputed all of his charges to my account for the last few months. I have a police report with the Sheriffs office who are following up on this. The Sheriff verified my stance on this and said this is clear cut fraud after reviewing the receipt, Ricky’s menu, and my bank statement. Ricky, if you want to be the pizza drivers champion then make sure your POS allows drivers to accept tips upon delivery like every other pizza place in existence in 2017. You are committing a crime, that is a fact and if you do not change your business practices I will continue to escalate the severity of...
Read moreThe food was good but the staff was very rude. Right when we walked in the lady at the front kept telling us that they close at ten and repeated it over and over again, this made us rush are dinner because we were scared they would kick us out if we finished late. After that we went to go order and the lady at the front shouted at my 8 year old sister for touching the karaoke machine that didn’t have a sign that said “ do not touch” or anything. She scared my sister and my whole family. We were debating if we should stay or not because of the horrible staff. We ended up staying and ordered the food. They were very picky on everything for example we wanted to have ranch on the side of the pizza and it was 85 cents for a little container. So we ordered our food and not once did someone come and check if we were ok with the food or if we needed something. After that we rushed our dinner and left. I would not recommend eating here because of the very rude staff and service. When we entered there was an young lady and she was the rudest person I have encountered till today. She repeatedly said we close at 10:00 when it was 8:45 when we entered with 6 people. We already knew what time they close. SHE WAS VERY VERY RUDE. We were very scared that she might spit in the pizza but we took a chance as we had just paid . All we wanted was some quality food with our family. My parents work hard and we are in the hospitality business since 1982 and it hurts me when customers are treated really really really bad. Again the pizza was great but the young lady hurts their business as she DONT KNOW HOW TO TALK TO CUSTOMERS. ONLY OWNING THE BUSINESS OWNER KNOWS...
Read moreWho expected this level of authenticity in a strip mall? The best stromboli I've ever had. We had friends over and ordered a little bit of everything so people had choices. NY white pizza wasn't greasy or too salty and truly NY style. Spinach, mushroom, onion stromboli was truly the best, wasn't soggy and the vegetables were all cut similarly so you don't get raw onions and mushy spinach, know what I mean? Truly tasty. Spinach ravioli was great with enough sauce for dipping the toast. The salad was flavorful and fresh and the ranch dressing was perfect. We also got a sampler platter that honestly topped anything we've had and although we got it to go, wasn't remotely soggy or cold despite sitting in the container for 20+ minutes. The meatball parm was toasty and cheesy and exactly what you'd want but nothing like you'd expect from outside the northeast. The desserts were amazing and we all kept passing them around to share. This is the type of food where manners go out the window and you start feeding each other across the table because it's so good your loved ones have to try it. Taste the love, because it's there and we have leftovers for dinner...if I can keep my husband and his friend out of the kitchen that long. So good we'll be...
