We love this place, the service and the food excellent ! It's like going down the rabbit hole and coming out on the other side in Wonderland! Don't let the age or location of this building fool you. It's definitely worth a visit. This place has the best traditional tacos in all of Durham! The pineapple water is to die for, and each plate of tacos is served with pickled carrots and onions that will drive anyone mad! The staff is always so friendly and our food is always prepared promptly. This really is a family favorite and a must-have at least once or twice a month! I wish they would sell the pickled carrots by the gallon. LOL,...

The food was good; not well presented but good. Now the service was terrible, the waitress was always on her phone, didn’t know what sour cream was, got the plates off the table as if I was eating there for free, I had to ask for the check because she was not paying attention to how I was doing, nor checking to see if I needed anything. When she brought my receipt back she didn’t even say thank you for coming or nothing, just kind of shoved it in my face. I’ve had their food back in 2019 but I recently got a chicken burrito from here and it was the WORST I’VE EVER HAD. Literally just chicken, a few beans and the thinnest layer of rice. No cheese or anything. Asked them to add onion and cilantro and the burrito was mostly that! Every bite was a mouth full of big chunky onions and cilantro couldn’t eat the burrito because of the very pungent onion taste..I truly believe Taquerias are just giving blk people whatever they want and charge you for it.
