Hubby and I ordered a live edge, wormy maple round table and chairs last July. We were in no hurry to receive the table as we had one in our room and are in the process of doing some home projects. We purchased some beautiful upholstery to have the chair cushions made up by them also. We received our table and chairs in Feb. (Chad said he could get it to us by Christmas, but I said no hurries, I don’t mind waiting). When the table arrived, I thought it was beautiful but it had two pieces of lighter wood and when the stain took, it seemed a bit off to me and my eye-brain couldn’t appreciate it. So I called Chad and explained to him and asked if this is normal. It is normal and I accepted his explanation and thanked him again. I kept standing in front of the table staring at it and I didn’t want to be rude, but I just didn’t like it as much as I had hoped. Then my phone rings and it’s Chad and he said we can do that top over for you. Just like that. I said really? He said yes! Some people like the distinction between the light and dark woods and some like more symmetry. He was so eager to change it for us and that he did. This morning he came personally with another young man to deliver the new table. It is GORGEOUS. Just what I envisioned. As we are in the process of doing some home projects, the room won’t be completed till the end of this year, but I will still show pictures. This was a small investment on a beautiful piece of furniture that hopefully I can pass to our son and his wife one day. We would like to have some more pieces crafted by Rustic Restorations in the future and know by the way Chad does business that we will be return customers and refer them to others looking for a handcrafted, quality piece of furniture.
