Wheat 麦茶 absolutely deserves a 5-star review! From the moment we walked in, everything about our experience was delightful. The staff was incredibly polite and friendly, making us feel welcomed and valued as customers. Their service truly added a warm touch to our dining experience. The food was great and tasty, leaving us wanting more. We started with the Chicken Lo Mein, which was a delicious blend of perfectly cooked noodles, succulent chicken pieces, and just the right mix of vegetables, all tossed in a savory sauce that was full of flavor without being overpowering. Next up was the Braised Beef Noodle Soup, a comforting bowl of rich, aromatic broth that had depth and warmth. The beef was tender and fell apart at the slightest touch, melding beautifully with the noodles and broth to create a symphony of flavors in each spoonful. The Peking Beef Burrito was a delightful surprise, combining traditional flavors in an innovative way. The beef was seasoned and cooked to perfection, wrapped in a soft, warm tortilla with a hint of crispiness. It was an exciting twist on classic Peking beef, and we savored every bite. The only downside was the limited selection of desserts available during our visit. We would have loved to try more sweet treats to end our meal on a high note. But, usually, they have a lot of desserts. Our overall experience at Wheat Restaurantwas exceptional. The inviting atmosphere, combined with the delectable food and outstanding service, made our visit memorable. We highly recommend Wheat 麦茶 to anyone looking for great food in a friendly setting. It's a place we'll definitely be returning to!

This restaurant is seated right off the corner of the road. When I walked in, I was the only customer there in the early afternoon hours (11:30). I was greeted and seat immediately. The server provided a menu, a glass of cold water, chopsticks as soon as I was seated. I took in the views of the beautiful restaurant prior to ordering. The attentive server provided an awesome background of the restaurant. He advised that they are a Chinese ramen noodle restaurant and that the noddles are made in house. I opted for the scallion pancakes as an app and the pork ramen. My food was piping hot which was great. The pancakes were soooo flaky and packed a lot of flavor. Paired with the dipping sauce and it's sure to be a table favorite. The pork ramen was nothing short of delicious. The pork was tender, the noodles were soft yet had a nice buoyancy in the light broth. I did wish that the egg wasn't cooked all the way through however it was still good. To my surprise, when I asked for a to-go box, it comes with the cutest to go bag that I now use while shopping for groceries and they give you to-go chopsticks. I love this place and I'm sure you would too!

I was pretty sad to see the last restaurant that was here go, but man, was this delicious and a great new option. Most of their menu items seemed to be noodle soups, but that’s kind of what I was looking for. They did have non-soup options as well, but far fewer. It also seemed very authentic and not too dumbed down or Americanized. I ordered the salt and pepper shrimp as an appetizer, which was straight forward but very good. I liked the hot pepper seasoning that came with it. Wish it came with a sauce, but I dipped it in my soup from my entree. For my entree I ordered the beef noodle soup, which was braised beef. The portion was solid, with lots of noodles, and the beef was faaaaantastic, delicious and perfectly cooked to wear it just melts in your mouth. The broth was so good I couldn’t stop eating it when I felt full. I asked to make it extra spicy and the accommodated. I thought the prices were reasonable and the staff were kind and efficient. Service was quick, super cute and clean atmosphere. I’m excited to come back and try some more!!!

I wanted to like this place... but they missed bad.

The atmosphere was nice and had fun fixtures.

When we walked in the waiter sat us in front of their prep station. They walked away for about ten minutes. Once they came back, we gave an order. Egg fried rice for my kids to share, chicken dish for my wife and I got the eggplant dish. Once the food came out was drop and run. They didn't give us silverware, drinks, I ordered tea and she ordered a drink and nothing.

The fried rice was good but my dish was not great and either was my wife's. It took us 10 minutes to get a fork as the waitress repeatedly told us to wait while he did other things and he never came back no one did. Ironically another table walked up and also was looking for silverware. So we ended up finding our own..

No one came back to us ever, so then we got up and my family went to the car and I waited by the front door. The waiter asked me for how many, I then let him know that I'm trying to pay the bill and how bad our experience. They could care less about you and just want your money.

Later on my wife had a unpleasant bathroom experience from this dinner.

This place has potential but I would suggest not going here at all, instead keep driving up the road for a...

I’m so sad and wanted to like this place. I was a longtime customer of the former Pho spot at this location and was hoping this new spot would hold up. Unfortunately it did not. My husband and I both asked if there was anything on the menu that might fill our Pho craving, so which we were told to order the noodle soup — him the beef, me the chicken. My dish came out as a straight plate of salty noodles and some ground meat that was almost black and absolutely not chicken. When I politely asked the waiter to clarify that this was in fact the chicken “soup” he told me there was no chicken soup on the menu (I literally pointed to it when I ordered it to avoid any confusion). I was very polite as I’ve worked in restaurants my whole life and rarely complain or question any food/service. When I reminded the man I asked for a recommendation, he said he would bring me some broth …. he brought me 1/2 cup of salty water. It was not broth and it was not great. My husbands meal was okay, but he asked if the soup had any Siracha and was told no …. it was incredible spicy. We paid nearly $50 for two “soups.” Again, I was hoping we would love it and be back but unfortunately...
