Wheat 麦茶 absolutely deserves a 5-star review! From the moment we walked in, everything about our experience was delightful. The staff was incredibly polite and friendly, making us feel welcomed and valued as customers. Their service truly added a warm touch to our dining experience.
The food was great and tasty, leaving us wanting more. We started with the Chicken Lo Mein, which was a delicious blend of perfectly cooked noodles, succulent chicken pieces, and just the right mix of vegetables, all tossed in a savory sauce that was full of flavor without being overpowering.
Next up was the Braised Beef Noodle Soup, a comforting bowl of rich, aromatic broth that had depth and warmth. The beef was tender and fell apart at the slightest touch, melding beautifully with the noodles and broth to create a symphony of flavors in each spoonful.
The Peking Beef Burrito was a delightful surprise, combining traditional flavors in an innovative way. The beef was seasoned and cooked to perfection, wrapped in a soft, warm tortilla with a hint of crispiness. It was an exciting twist on classic Peking beef, and we savored every bite.
The only downside was the limited selection of desserts available during our visit. We would have loved to try more sweet treats to end our meal on a high note. But, usually, they have a lot of desserts.
Our overall experience at Wheat Restaurantwas exceptional. The inviting atmosphere, combined with the delectable food and outstanding service, made our visit memorable. We highly recommend Wheat 麦茶 to anyone looking for great food in a friendly setting. It's a place we'll definitely be...
Read moreI wanted to like this place... but they missed bad.
The atmosphere was nice and had fun fixtures.
When we walked in the waiter sat us in front of their prep station. They walked away for about ten minutes. Once they came back, we gave an order. Egg fried rice for my kids to share, chicken dish for my wife and I got the eggplant dish. Once the food came out was drop and run. They didn't give us silverware, drinks, I ordered tea and she ordered a drink and nothing.
The fried rice was good but my dish was not great and either was my wife's. It took us 10 minutes to get a fork as the waitress repeatedly told us to wait while he did other things and he never came back no one did. Ironically another table walked up and also was looking for silverware. So we ended up finding our own..
No one came back to us ever, so then we got up and my family went to the car and I waited by the front door. The waiter asked me for how many, I then let him know that I'm trying to pay the bill and how bad our experience. They could care less about you and just want your money.
Later on my wife had a unpleasant bathroom experience from this dinner.
This place has potential but I would suggest not going here at all, instead keep driving up the road for a...
Read moreI’m so sad and wanted to like this place. I was a longtime customer of the former Pho spot at this location and was hoping this new spot would hold up. Unfortunately it did not. My husband and I both asked if there was anything on the menu that might fill our Pho craving, so which we were told to order the noodle soup — him the beef, me the chicken. My dish came out as a straight plate of salty noodles and some ground meat that was almost black and absolutely not chicken. When I politely asked the waiter to clarify that this was in fact the chicken “soup” he told me there was no chicken soup on the menu (I literally pointed to it when I ordered it to avoid any confusion). I was very polite as I’ve worked in restaurants my whole life and rarely complain or question any food/service. When I reminded the man I asked for a recommendation, he said he would bring me some broth …. he brought me 1/2 cup of salty water. It was not broth and it was not great. My husbands meal was okay, but he asked if the soup had any Siracha and was told no …. it was incredible spicy. We paid nearly $50 for two “soups.” Again, I was hoping we would love it and be back but unfortunately...
