The atmosphere was great. It was wonderfully decorated with some high top seating near the counter and traditional seating in another area of the restaurant. The food was good. The portion was slightly disappointing for the bowl. The pancakes were huge! The service was below average. Not because they weren’t attentive, but because we didn’t feel welcomed. Would I go back? Probably not. We had never been there before so we were excited to try a new place that was fairly close to home. I only have one more thing to add. You never know who your customer is. You never know what kind of day they’re having. Good customer service goes a long way. Always make them feel appreciated. This didn’t...

I ate at Market & Maple two days in a row. Yesterday, some of my high school classmates and I ordered lunch. We were so impressed with our meals, we decided to book Market & Maple to cater our upcoming reunion. Today I brought my husband in for brunch. We were both pleasantly surprised with our meals. His omelete was chock-full of veggies and came with potatoes and two thick slices of raisin toast. I had a wonderful cobb salad made with field greens/spring mix. Most restaurants use a cheaper blend of lettuce (romaine and iceberg). Not Market & Maple! Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and service oriented. We will...

I'd say more like 3 1/2. Tried this spot for the first time. The prices were decent. Even though it was crowded, we were seated quicker than expected. The host quoted 10 minutes, but it was less, which was a nice. The food was okay, not bad. I ordered a scramble, but the ratio was off, a bit too much potato and not enough eggs for me. Service-wise, I wish my server had checked in during the meal. She only came by once, and that was at the end. That said, I’d come back to give other items on...

I stopped in about an hour before close with my senior father. He ordered breakfast and I ordered lunch and we both really liked our food. Cute boutique restaurant with friendly staff, good food and fair prices. My Dad was happy that it was small and quiet as he has trouble hearing in many restaurant settings. He has been telling everyone how much he enjoyed it and wants to go back. Highly recommend!
