The atmosphere was great. It was wonderfully decorated with some high top seating near the counter and traditional seating in another area of the restaurant. The food was good. The portion was slightly disappointing for the bowl. The pancakes were huge! The service was below average. Not because they weren’t attentive, but because we didn’t feel welcomed. Would I go back? We were so impressed with our meals, we decided to book Market & Maple to cater our upcoming reunion. Today I brought my husband in for brunch. We were both pleasantly surprised with our meals. His omelete was chock-full of veggies and came with potatoes and two thick slices of raisin toast. I had a wonderful cobb salad made with field greens/spring mix. The host quoted 10 minutes, but it was less, which was a nice. The food was okay, not bad. I ordered a scramble, but the ratio was off, a bit too much potato and not enough eggs for me.
