State Line Pizza Dyer — Restaurant in Dyer

They have some interesting people working here. Food was good but the service was very disorganized. I made an order for delivery and after a long wait I called and asked about my order status and the lady got really defensive saying it takes over an hour and 15 minutes to deliver. Estimated delivery when I ordered was an hour after I ordered and I called to check after waiting an additional 30 minutes. Don't give me an estimated wait time of an hour if you are going to be rude when I call an hour and half after. I wasn't going to argue on the phone but that lady who was on the phone has to check her attitude. I was being respectful and all I did was ask a question. When we called to modify the order they played hot potato with the phone and they put the order in twice, charged me for both, and the order still came out incorrect (wrong types, different flavors). Otherwise like I mentioned, food was good and additional food was okay. Had to throw out the additional stuff they charged me for since no...

What started out to possibly be a negative situation, turned out extremely positive. When we received our original order, the State line Pizza quality didn't arrive at our dinner table. However, addressing the issue with the manager at the dyer location where we ordered, he followed up personally to address the issue and resolve the problem. He offered to replace every item we ordered to show goodness and quality of the State line Pizza name. The replacement order was outstanding! What really was important the concern of the manager making this a priority to resolve. We will definitely continue to make stateline Dyer one of our top take out Italian restaurants. May I add that there is a dining room and it is absolutely cozy, accommodating, clean place to have dinner as a family or couple or party (kid or adult) and even yourself. • EDIT- we were very pleased that management corrected things and allowed us to give them another shot. This time around the customer service was way better and the food looks way better than last time. I appreciate management reaching out and making things right with us it does show that they care about their customers and their dignity. Thanks state line in Dyer !

We usually go to Schererville because they never mix up our order and its always awesome. But today we went to dyer because schererville is closed on tuesdays. The customer service was horrid, employees were so rude. They absolutely burnt our bread sticks. And then the lady working up front ran out and knocked on my car window stating i didnt have the right food and that she didnt give me the right bag. I had to physically show her everything in my bag was MY ORDER. this location is a disappointment....
