My husband and I went to this restaurant for Thanksgiving Dinner. We had gone to one in OK for Thanksgiving before and it was great so we didn't think twice about going to this location. We were told we absolutley could not trade the sides on the Thanksgiving Plate Special to begin with, my husband requested the sweet potatoes and cranberry relish NOT be put on his plate at all and I requested the sweet pot. NOT be put on mine, the server repeated we could not exchange the sides, we explained we just didn't want it (why waste the food .. right?) she said she had to ask the mgr. finally she came back and we just went ahead and ordered the veggie plate additionally so we could get sides we preferred. When the plates arrived unfortunately mine didn't have the cranberry relish, I decided it wasn't worth pointing out but they at least honored the request of but wanting to waste food. When I went to bite into my mashed potatoes.(which are my favorite) ... well.. they were so hard that literally (as shown in the picture) I picked the serving up with my hand. At this point I had another server get a mgr. He was very professional and exchanged our veggie plate with hot fresh food, and explained it's Thanksgiving and the cooks just had not stirred the vegetables under the pans (because they are youngsters). The dressing was great and the very thin 2 piece turkey was good. I do not recommend going for Thanksgiving and overall, I won't go back to this restaurant. We live in an area that does not have many options for dining out, so the decision wasn't easy but I'd rather have a gas station then this Thanksgiving Plate again. I didn't request a discount, $50 later we left disappointed.

You will FREEZE. I was warned prior to going it was so cold. I don’t know how the older population stands it, or maybe they don’t. It’s even freezing inside during the winter when it’s actually cold outside (40 and below outside). Our waitress was amazing though and the food was good. Please consider making the temperature more friendly; even ask people at check out how they felt about the temperature if you don’t want to take it from me. Also every single time I order scrambled eggs from here they are ALWAYS undercooked and I’m ALWAYS told they can’t take it off so they take my child’s drink off the bill instead, even though I don’t eat the eggs at all, and don’t want a replacement afterwards.. like it’s my fault. We will still be back however: I do like their other meals, and their gift shop is great; plus our waitress has never displeased us in anyway.

I can’t imagine the humiliation of managing this disaster of a restaurant. Sure, they were busy, but come on—it’s not like it was the Super Bowl. There were just two of us. We place our order, and 23 minutes later (yes, twenty-three), someone casually strolls over to inform us that what we ordered isn’t even available. Stellar start. At the 40-minute mark, the biscuits and cornbread finally arrive—sans butter, of course. It then took two waitresses (and what felt like an expedition to Narnia) to locate some butter. By the time the food showed up, 50 minutes had passed. But wait—it gets better! One plate arrived incomplete, missing its protein entirely, while the meatloaf on the other plate was raw in the middle. RAW. That person just gave up and didn’t eat. Honestly, I don’t blame them. If this place were a ship, it’d sink before it even left the dock.

Went here last night after coming to town to help a friend with a house remodel and we were tired and starving !! We should have listened to our gut instincts and gone somewhere else but we both love the shop and food so we went. We did have a slight wait but we shopped so didn’t mind that so much. Sat down and it took awhile for our server to acknowledge us but again , not a huge deal. After getting drinks and ordering, things went downhill. We noticed people around us had been seated for a VERY long time with no food. We did not get any bread and we were not asked which bread we wanted. Our meals specifically stated we got a choice but we were not asked what that was. We didn’t make a big deal about it while ordering because we just stupidly assumed this would be asked perhaps right before we got our food. It USED to be that it came out before without any request needing to be made or having to specify. Finally get our food and she drops it off and is gone. Which is an issue because we have NO SILVERWARE! Five minutes go by with us sitting there like idiots and food going cold. Waitress finally comes back around , kind of. Never really even gets close to the table or fully stops! We ask about silverware and she apologizes that the HOSTESS never gave us any. Not that we didn’t have any. But that SHE didn’t give us any. My husband had decided to go searching for silverware before she eventually returned and obtained some but was told the reason the hostess didn’t give us any is because they had none when we sat down ! The blame shifting continued when we mentioned bread. Claimed, and I quote , ‘it’s a corporate thing. I’m not allowed to bring out any bread unless you ASK for it’ she days. Ok, SURE! I can overlook busy or simple mistakes. But gaslighting us and lying and again BLAME SHIFTING … I couldn’t believe my ears. We immediately told her that per the menu our meals come with bread but she didn’t bother to ask when we failed to clarify this. It’s absolutely not a corporate policy to withhold bread unless the customer asks for it. Especially when it’s part of your meal !!! Food wasn’t great. My husband was given the absolute tiniest piece of chicken friend steak I have ever seen ! She finally brought biscuits. And only biscuits. Even though I wanted those and my husband wanted corn muffins. They were cold . And after that she had an even worse attitude than before. Apparently there was a multitude of issues that night because we observed the couple behind us get upset and heard her ramble for several minutes about how she fully understands if they want to leave and that ‘it’s been crazy ‘. But it wasn’t that bad. No reason whatsoever for all the issues to occur. We were beyond livid! For a restaurant that is known for their customer service, hospitality and good food to be this way is just unacceptable. Let’s be clear - nothing was unforgivable until the waitress lied and made us out to be the issue! That is something I utterly cannot fathom doing to a customer ! Thank goodness we don’t live in town ! It’s a shame too. I was planning on spending some major money in the store after our meal because their Halloween selection was amazing. But we decided to not even bother. We just paid for the...

First Cracker Barrel has also been one of my favorite. Sad to see it going down hill and fast. People love and eat at your restaurants for the home cooked meal they can order not appetizers & alcohol! Leave that to the other restaurant’s!

Second This location is awful! So bad we didn’t leave a tip! We waited 15/20 minutes for a waitress to come to our table which was after a 15 minute wait to be seated on a Wednesday about 6:45 and not overly busy.

Our waitress took our order, brought our drinks. Didn’t come back till she brought our food. No napkins or silverware. Stopped a sever and asked for silverware. Had to get our napkins. My sides were wrong not once but twice! Mixed greens had an off greasy taste, potatoes & carrots where ok, very little chicken and the taste less dumplings were NOT cooked completely. My husbands 6oz sirloin was cooked rite but absolutely had no taste except for what ever was on the grill from cooking. Mac & Cheese was cold. Biscuits were cold and the cornbread was hard. Took forever to get our check!

We paid our bill and asked what was going on with their service tonight. The cashier said we train our new servers on weeknights when we are not as busy. We also told them they needed to check the chicken & dumplings that they were not done. With two other staff members one I do believe was higher up then our cashier. All the cashier said to us was sorry about that!

We watched a couple and child get up and leave after waiting 30 minutes. Several others waited with aggravation on their face.

If I would have went to the doctor, I would have been diagnosed with...
