Stopped by the drive through for my yearly birthday beverage. Ordered a ICE HALF VANILLA HALF LAVENDER OAT LATTE.
I repeated iced 3 times. The man taking the other never repeated the order I had to repeat the details a few times to make sure I would get it right. I pulled up the window, he said the price, I pulled my app up with the birthday beverage reward on there. He said I owed a little more. I explained that I was using my birthday beverage. He kind of went to explaining how it worked. Had a slight attitude with this. Another employee brought my drink out Hot and with regular milk.
I was already running late to an appointment, so I was unable to return to explain things. I DID CALL AND EXPLAINED THE CARIBOU STANDARDS, the person who also was the person at the window did apologize. I did explain that is wasn't caribou standards that were followed.
But thank you for starting my birthday off wrong.

Read moreI have had a mix of good and bad experiences here. One time it was spot-on perfect for drive-through, another time it took 8 minutes for a counter-order black coffee. The local manager is covering 2 stores while one is on maternity leave. Another location a half mile away also has a drive-through, is quieter and has lower traffic. The goal is to get coffee, in under 5 minutes. Drive through coffee is a dicey game. You are at the mercy of the car ahead of you. Those who order modified drinks should order ahead.

Read moreI typically enjoy my visits to Caribou Coffee, but I was really taken aback during my most recent trip. While I was there, I witnessed the manager yelling at one of the employees in front of customers. It was uncomfortable to watch, and I felt that it was very unprofessional and unnecessary. Management has a duty to respect and look after employees. It's important for a workplace to maintain a respectful atmosphere for both employees and customers, and I hope this is something a higher management team will address to ensure a better experience moving forward for both customers and more importantly, those working at...
