What a cute new place in Downtown Eagle River. My fiancé and I went for drinks after dinner and had such a nice experience. The way they decorated is so adorable and it’s hard not to keep looking around when you sit down. They have a really nice wine selection. They also offer 4 whites (Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, rose, and Sauvignon blanc) and 4 reds (Cabernet, Pinot noir, and forgot the other 2) on tap. Always a VERY special treat to stop in Kate’s wine bar. We spend about 5 months a year, about an hour northeast of Eagle River, WI … and always try to visit this delightful tuck-in & friendly (yes classy!) respite. Wines are delicious - assortment of wine-friendly appetizers, perfect! And the interior has such a delightful cozy feel. The Northwoods having such a spot as this? Call it a blessing. This place deserves 5 or more stars. The original decoration and the attention to detail can be seen in every corner of the place. They offer good variety of wines as well as cheese boards and charcuterie .The staff was very nice and served us delicious cheese board even when they already closed the kitchen…the place is fantastic cozy and relaxing, not to mention the prices are very reasonable. I look forward to come back again soon and I would definitely recommend no doubt for wine lovers like me!....
