I have to say when I picked up my pizza I LOVED the way it looked. I mean look at how good that pizza looks!!!! I was a bit disappointed in the texture of the dough. It was a bit too chewy for me. It could have been crispier and have some additional flavor. This pizza was good but not over the top great. I will continue to order their pizza as I like the place and it is better than most pizza in West Chester.
Updated - I went back with the family to sit outside and have dinner. The outside seating area is very quaint and lovely with their plantings, umbrella and handmade wall to block the traffic noise. The star of the show was their food. We ordered two appetizers, meatballs and cheesesteak egg rolls. The egg rolls were served with a side of aioli. The rolls themselves were fried to perfection and had plenty of cheese and meat. They were some of the best around. The meatballs were served in a lodge pan and were cut in half. They had thick slices of Parmesan on top. My wife said they were delicious. My son enjoyed both the egg rolls and the meatballs. His face when he had the first bite of meatball would have said it all. We ordered an upside down pizza (sauce on top) as my son is not that adventurous when it comes to pizza. It was well cooked, the sauce was tasty, the dough was thin, and overall it was a great dining experience. Our waitress was attentive and pleasant as well. Great job. We will be back.
Updated 4.21.2023 This place is so full of itself now. That received a good review from Dave Portnoy and now it takes them an hour to make your pizza after they state 20-30 minutes on the phone. The pizza isn’t THAT great. I am so tired of them saying it’s 30 minutes to only show up 40 minutes after I order and they still don’t have it. I will go to Pizza West Chester or Floga. The employees (pickup only) aren’t helpful and don’t are about you as a customer! It...
Read moreDifferent Cheesesteak #1240. I saw on the menu a Grilled Cheese. I asked the young woman at the counter if they could make me a Grilled Cheese Cheesesteak. She said, yes!! I called Artillery Brewing to see if I could take my grilled cheesesteak there. The young man on the phone said, Yes! I took my Grilled Cheesesteak to Artillery Brewing. Artillery Brewing has a kitchen. I apologized and said that I had called. He said I had talked to him. He said it was okay because at that time I was the only customer. I am glad he did because I loved my sour cherry beer from the Rebellion Collection. My Grilled Cheesesteak was very good. The meat/cheese and onions were close to very very very good. I may have gotten a little ahead of myself getting it as a grilled cheese. The good news, I will be going back to West Chester Pizza Cafe to try the cheesesteak as a cheesesteak. The wonderful young man at Artillery said West Chester Pizza is his go-to for cheesesteaks. I will mostly take Amigo Dan and get a Pizza. The place smelled...
Read moreUpdated 4/21/22- had a slice onmy way home last night and it wasnt bad. Went back today and ordered a chicken cheesesteak wrap and onion rings. The chicken cheesesteak was awesome!!! The girl behind the counter was sweet both yesterday and today. Talked to me about the food and I actually scoped out her sandwhich which made me try it again today. All told i'd go back for sure :) I called and asked if they had any white pizza slices behind the counter, no slices on Sunday. Fast forward 2 weeks later I call on a Friday and ask again. The girl says let me check. Came back on and said she had 2 left. Perfect! Can I get spinach ricotta and tomatoes? $7.74. Cool. Be there in 2 mins. It was Terrible. When I figure out how to post the picture I took.... they gave me plain pizza not white. Threw spinach and ricotta on it and sliced up thick slices of plum tomatoes on it. The pizza was soggy except for the crust. Wasn’t the white I ordered. And gave me 2 whole plum tomatoes. I won’t be back. There’s better pizza around...
