So I don't usually complain about people at their jobs because I know it can be rough and they have to deal with a lot throughout their shifts. But when I first got to this Chipotle the people working the food line were speaking to themselves while other customers were trying to get their attention. They barely gave any rice or beans so I had to ask them for more they were out of queso which made me want to just walk out of there. But my husband, my mother and I were so hungry I figured we'd just deal with it. Any other time I would have just walked out. At the end of the food line, the guy who closes the bowls started closing one of mine and I told him "wait sir I'm not done I need sour cream," then he starts closing it again, so I said "excuse me I'm still not done with my order I need cheese," then he proceeded to close it YET AGAIN so I said... Once again... "Excuse me I'm STILL not done.. I need lettuce as well." Then as I went to pay I got a dirty look from the guy who I went through all of that with. As I left I told him "You should wait until the customer is fully done ordering until u start to packaging the food." He did say "okay sorry mam" and then he began to smile and chuckle. Which honestly made me pretty angry that he took what I said as a joke. It was very rude and it felt like he was rushing me to leave. I don't know his name but he was short, heavy-set, looked pretty young and he was Spanish. The entire experience was horrible. I used to work at the Chipotle in Metuchen and I would have never acted that way towards a customer and I would never have done what he did in the way he did so. It was very unprofessional... Second Review(about 45 mins later): when my mother, husband and I finally arrived home we went to eat our food. My husband ordered barbacoa in his bowl and got nothing but absolute fat in it. He had to take out most of it and threw it away. Also all the corn in his bowl was on one side only. The place wasn't even busy and they still couldn't make our food look appetizing or decent. We were all very VERY DISAPPOINTED. AND WE WILL NOT BE CUSTOMERS AT THIS LOCATION EVER AGAIN... I really hope someone over there reads this and does something about their employees attitudes and the way they portion/make food, because this isn't the first bad review I've seen for this specific Chipotle location......
Read moreThis is the worst Chipotle I've ever been to. It needs a whole new crew. Everyone looked miserable. My daughter made an online order to be picked at 10pm. I understand that they want to start cleaning but there still order that needs to be made. I got there at 10pm order was ready. So I said OK I'll wait 5 more minutes. I someone standing there waiting for their order and he looked like he been waiting a while. So I then ask where do I go for pick up. The young lady that was sweeping the floor pointed to another young lady was cleaning the sink. I waited another couple of minutes she then looks up as there's a crowd starting to form and walks to another guy, was was also deep cleaning, are you making the online orders which h said no. So I've been standing there already about 10 to 15 minutes and my food was supposed to be done for me to pick up as soon as I walked in. So now there is about 6 to 7 people waiting on there online order. The young lady is making the order all alone with no help going as fast as she can. I watching make the order and still my order haven't been made. At this point I'm in there 25 minutes. I'm getting a little frustrated. I then ask her about my order and she told me she is making it now. She then got side tracked with people walking in and ordering that someone else took over what she was doing. I waited another 5 minutes and asked again only to be told that they couldn't make my order because they did have the ingredients. Like WTH. Almost 40 Minutes waiting on an order that should have been ready to be picked up as soon as I walked in. They need better management. They should have not been cleaning at 10 when they stop serving at 11. They should make sure they have what the customers needs. It no wonder why they have so many 1 star reviews. Someone at Chipotle needs to handle this the right way. And their store was discussing. Food everywhere where the food is being served. Fix this the people of East Brunswick...
Read moreThis place is horriable! How they talk and treat the customers is horriable, and their food preparation is horrible. I will give the multiple reasons why. One time my husband and I ordered chipotle from this location online for pickup on site. They said they never recieved the order after telling us to wait for 30mins that the order wasn't ready yet. We were upset but said ok mistakes happen I will try it again. We ordered again and they received our order, but gave us the wrong order. Nothing even remotely close to what we ordered and the food was cold. After this experance we said we will not go back for awhile. We decided a few days ago to give them a try. On the phone and on their door it states dine in is allowed at their location. When my husband went to walk in the doors were locked and they closed down while people were still inside at 5pm. They usually close at 10. So I tried again today at location. Walk in to make an order and they said online orders only. I had asked if there was any way to know this info for dine in if it was allowed or not other then driving here each time to get told that they are not open other then online orders and or closed completely when they arnt sappose to be closed. The manager stated that she only had 3 people working with her that day and that its online orders only take it or leave it. There was no reason for an attitude and or that remark when asking a simple question about how to find this info out ahead of time since I did not have my phone to make an online order and drove there for no reason. I will not be coming back to this location, and I will be telling everyone about the horriable experances that me and my husband had with this location. I would not be surprised if this location were to close down for good with how they have been running...
