1 Star (food is average taco bell quality) because I ordered way ahead of time on the website for pick up later this same night. I get the notification my order is ready and I drive out to get my food. I arrive a little later than originally anticipated due to work keeping me late. I get there and no one is there to say hello to me at the counter. No one asks me what I'm there for. I have to just yell into the void and hope for a response. The guy who helps me asks my name. I give it to him and show him my receipt and he tells me my order is not in the system. I push back and show him again and he gets someone else to either start making it again or what have you. Someone else finally shows up to the counter 10 min later, and asks me who I'm picking up for and he finds my order in 30 seconds, buried underneath the others. Awful service, and it's freezing cold in the restaurant so my food was already way cold after I had to wait for no good reason to get it. On top of that, they forgot to even give me my taco I ordered! If I checked the box there I would have demanded it or ask for a refund. You can't just expect me to wait for nothing and then don't' even give me my entire order. What's the point of ordering online if you're not going to be given faster or at least good service? This place is ALWAYS busy, the drive through frequently goes out into the street. It's insane, and I understand, but I ordered online to pick up to avoid the wait and have no issues, and here I am, having issues. Very frustrating. Not coming back to this taco bell again. Read moreI got married nearby at the Park Chateau in East Brunswick and wanted to have my after party catered by Taco Bell for my drunk guests. I called the week of and spoke to the General Manager Blake to place my order. Typically these orders are done online but the app itself maxed me out since it was such a big order. Blake was the man and kept in contact with me to make sure my order would be placed and delivered on time. He went above and beyond for me for my big night.
Since we were having difficulties with the Taco Bell app and even GrubHub, Blake took the order himself, even came to the venue to meet me so I could give him the cash upfront, and then personally delivered 200 tacos with all the necessary accoutrements HIMSELF to the venue for my after party at 11:30pm.
I was fortunate enough to meet him during the drop off and he made sure everything was set up perfectly and delivered on time. I can't thank him enough for coming through clutch for me. I can only imagine what his car must of smelt like bringing 200 tacos over to the venue but I was very fortunate to coordinate with him so that everything worked out.
THAT IS WORLD CLASS CUSTOMER SERVICE GOING THE EXTRA MILE...
Read moreMy son and I have made it a semi regular thing to eat here unfortunately after tonight I will question it. It wasn't busy at all yet everyone behind the counter seemed wrapped up in something. A girl was standing at the counter with a bunch of 100 dollar bills in 1 hand and her phone in the other. No acknowledgement I was even at the counter as a customer but plenty of acknowledgement to her phone. Once she put that down I figured out she was the cashier and just came up and took my order. Couldn't even get that right, maybe if I text it to her on the phone she would have. Turned out she was leaving for the day shortly after. I get that part and believe me I feel the same but the customer is still a customer. Especially since I spent over 10 years in retail dealing with customers and couldn't even so much as get a hello to start with. However there was a dif girl at the counter when we left and she at least said to enjoy our night. That was simple yet effective. I even tried to go on their website and review the experience there. I couldn't find that...nothing but ads...
