Cones & Crepes — Restaurant in East Brunswick Township

Cones & Crepes is a fantastic spot for dessert lovers! I recently visited and was thoroughly impressed. The Nutella crepe was a delight, generously filled with Nutella and fresh banana slices. Paired with a chocolate ice cream cone, it was a perfect combination of flavors.

We also tried the Lotus crepe, which was equally delicious. The subtle crunch and rich taste made it a memorable treat. The ambiance of the place added to the experience, with great music playing in the background, making it a pleasant place to relax and enjoy your dessert.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, which made the visit even more enjoyable. Their warm hospitality and quick service were much appreciated.

Me and my friends went there for the first time on April 16th,2025 for an afternoon sweet treat and get together. The place was at the time empty no high volume of costumers. The young lady tending the register and obtaining our orders was kind, patient and informative. She appeared to be new and in training. The man who was working with her ( unsure if he was the owner) was disgustingly rude and degrading towards the young worker while she was assisting us. He had a dismissive attitude towards me personally when explaining something on the menu. An interaction that happened was I asked her if the drinks came iced, the young lady asked him to confirm if this was an option and he walked over and in a raised voice said “why do you think that’s an option we don’t have ice. If it’s not on the menu it’s not an option I don’t understand why you keep asking this” I politely said to them both that it’s okay we just wanted to confirm and that hot would be fine. I would like to share my experience here at Cones & Crepes from a while back. Unfortunately, this was my first (and last time) coming here. What happened was that I came on a Friday with my dad (which on Fridays, they have a special deal where you get free ice cream along with your order). And so, I ordered a Nutella crepe. When the owner asked me if I wanted to order anything else, I mentioned the free ice cream. Then he responded bitterly without even acknowledging what I had said with, "Anything else?" And taken aback I said, "No that would be it." My dad had already ordered the ice cream thinking it would be free as our orders were together and as he was already holding the ice cream, the owner, Bader Shibli said that he would have to still charge us for the ice cream as we used Uber Eats to pay for our food.
