We have this place on our list of ice cream shops that we wanted to visit New Jersey for a while and finally got the chance to get our sugar fixed today. When we arrived the line was right to the end of the door and we had to wait to move inside for the door to even close. So they were busy and we understand that. What I got was three scoops of ice cream of peanut butter cup, cherry pistachio and dirt. Call three flavors were delicious, but the dirt stood out the most. It had amazingly good big chunks of chocolate in it. And a kind of dryness that really made the dirt name stick in a good way though! There's a lot going on inside this small store that is mostly a one-way Lane in and out the other side. They have shirts for sale mugs for sale as well as some other things that I didn't get to check out. There's also a little arcade game that kids can win a prize at at the very end of the store so if you want to use that bring some cash. It's one of those guaranteed prize-winning things so you will win a brand new phone or anything. 😂 The only thing that prevented this from being five stars was that the girl that served us emotionless. She wasn't rude or impolite in any way but didn't smile at all. And by not smiling I mean if this was 10 years from now I'd swear she was an Android. It was our first visit to the store and it didn't give us a very comebacky kind of feeling. But as I said the store was very busy even with the three women working there. So if you're in the area and want some good ice cream definitely check this place out. Or if you're like us and will drive a couple hours just for a cup of ice cream and check it out as well. #Ice cream #pistachio #dirt #scooptomylou #eastbrunswick

Excellent service & yummy flavors! I was visiting my mom and she had 3 containers of their ice cream in the freezer. She had me try pistachio-cherry, PB & J, as well as banana fosters! Out of those I really liked the cherry pistachio and PB&j! With the PB&j you can really taste the Concorde grape, but not too much! I liked them so much that I asked how late they were open, and we went right away. They let you try any flavor you want there, so we tried a few more! Strawberry cheesecake was awesome as was the dulce de leche! I ended up getting a container of strawberry cheesecake and mint chocolate chip to bring home! And when we went today they were very busy, great sign and very happy for them! All the employees were courteous and helpful! We'll definitely be going back, especially when the weather is nicer! Side note: Lots of respect for opening off-season! They seem to be doing great thus far and the new apartments next door to them will only help! Best wishes for continued success! Suggestion: I would LOVE for them to consider doing 1 or 2 dairy-free ice creams! Something like "So Delicious" makes from coconut or oatmilk would be incredible! :)

Scoop to My Lou is the genuine depiction of your friendly neighborhood ice cream shop. It was truly such an amazing ending to my partner and I’s lunch date in East Brunswick! When we walked in I couldn’t resist to poke around at all the ice cream flavors in their display cases as well as other fun goodies they had in their to go fridges like ice cream pints, ice cream pies, and ice cream cookies! You can’t help but feel like a little kid all giddy deciding what flavor you want! Worker Chelsea greeted us with the sweetest smile and the most amazing customer service by giving us an ample amount of suggestions and samples of the flavors they have. So happy to have come in and will definitely find myself back in East Brunswick again for these sweet treats and sweeter service! ◡̈

I've been a pateon of Scoop to My Lou for about a year now. Magnifico's,on 18, used to be my go to, but Scoop is closer. Their employees are always friendly and extraordinarily hard working, and you will never spend more than 5 or so dollars on any cone size for soft serve. However, in the last two months, the cones are, without fail, always stale. Their soft serve is kept far too cold and is weirdly solid when I try to lick the cone, and no matter how many times I get the same thing, neither the price nor the amount of ice cream is ever the same.

The latter two aren't really bad things, but strange in a way. A week prior my father and I both ordered black and white cones with rainbow sprinkles, medium sized. We got both in a cup instead, and the workers were kind enough to give us cones to plop on top. The amount of ice cream on top, though, was enough to feed a small city and that is no exaggeration. This evening I got a small to see the difference and woo... Half and inch compared to a foot! And only 25 cents cheaper than the foot of ice cream they call a medium!

On a more serious note, you never feel cheated and the ice cream always tastes amazing. And no matter what they price you, it's always fair and delicious. Worth going at least...

This place was horrible. I ordered my 2 year old an ice cream cone. I specifically asked if they had children size cones ,or if they were able to just make a small size for him. The line started building up behind us and people were huffing and puffing for the long wait. When our order finally came out, they handed me a huge cone for my 2 year old. The hard ice cream was so soft it was already melting. It was a complete mess! And to top it off ,the thing that really got me was they did not give us one napkin! I didn't complain about the cone size bc the line was very long by this time and the girl behind the counter who was taking my order stopped and had a strange look on her face. I asked was she OK and she said she was having bad anxiety. I sympathized with her as I know how it is and felt bad for her so I didn't want to start complaining. Also the ice cream was bland, definitely not worth the money spent! I myself got icecream in a cup with all kinds of stuff making it a mess and not one napkin.and I had 2 kids with me, all of ordered !! That's crazy . I would never go back here . I just didn't like it and in my opinion there are better places for the...
