Beautiful place with a nice friendly staff who do a great job. If you want a nice peaceful and quiet sit down meal with loved ones, this is an amazing place to have it. There is so much space and there is so much beauty and quiet. I want to emphasize that I love this place because they don’t play any of their music and there is nothing but just you talking to your family or friends or loved one. Many places I go to I get really bothered because the music is not what I like plus it’s too loud so I can’t hear myself. Sometimes I just wanna eat and quiet and silence. If you go into the bathroom, it’s also very pleasant. They had this really nice aroma in there and you should see my picture of what it is. It’s a Hawaiian salt and citrus diffuser and it was just amazing the smell. The bathroom was so clean and it had three sink stations with soap and no touch towel bars. And they’re also about four stalls which is a lot for a bathroom. There was also a nice little piece of furniture in the bathroom. On the way to the bathroom there are some really beautiful Asian and Thai Art that I couldn’t help looking at the details of how colorful and how wonderful they Were. The food was delightful and the presentation was beautiful. But I found my Drunken Noodle dish to be a bit salty and still very spicy without added jalapeños that the waiter asked for me. There were still lots of chili pepper tidbits and the hot seeds all over and I had to pick it out individually bc it was too hot for me. Would have been nice to make it mild but this was their version of mild. 🌶 ouch. I will a voice the drunken noodles next time even tho the veges were good and fresh. I love to be able to look out the window from my questioned and comfortable booth to see the bridge to Grand Forks North Dakota. The parking is also very easy as there are two sides to parking to this restaurant near the big restaurants in this area such as blue Moose. This was such a pleasant experience I will definitely go back again and my friend told me about this place and she says she’s here at least once a month or more because she already lives downtown I love this place. I see why she loves this place now. I...
Read moreLike many restaurants who are established with initially rave reviews, the trick is to see if any given restaurant can maintain great food and service after a year or so. I was really disappointed in that Little Bangkok's food has really slipped. My basic chicken yellow curry was a disaster last Thursday night. Potatoes cut into the size of golf balls that were inedible due to being undercooked along with cold rice and a waitress who never came back to ask about the service. The tempura appetizer was not even tempura. It was greasy and heavy and again, that were not cooked adequately. I really would like to add that watching a large spider dangle from his web line up on the window ledge in the booth in front of me sort of was final telling point. The floors are dirty as are the windows and the menus have that definitive stickiness that makes me want to run out to my car and grab a large bottle of Windex. Please try and take more time to clean your spaces. People notice cleanliness which I feel is something that is happening in the women's bathroom so I would like to add that if you can make an older building shine with old plumbing, why not wash down the menus and the floors and the woodwork more often. Now go chop the veggies to bite size portions so that they will cook adequately and get that blonde pony tailed waitress to pay attention to her customers. People like me who have lived in the community and enjoy eating good food will patronize establishments that know how to actually focus on customers needs and not the whimsical appeal of some foodies who think cutting giant cuts of meats and vegetables is...
Read moreAt the base one of a few places to eat. Very tasty and the special noodles were a great choice. Limited daily menu but its good food. A few places to sit and eat, so don't expect a restaurant experience. Our meal included a drink, but I'd rather have bottled water than soda. UPDATE May 18th East Grand Forks, the starter soup was luke warm and flavorless, so it wasn't a good start to our meal. The crab ragoons delivered, hot, crisp, good taste, and the sauce was just right with the sweetness. Our meal was good, and both the Panang Curry and the Bamee Gaeng were very flavorable. Just wish the veggies were cut a lot smaller. I got mine with scallops, however they were overcooked. Almost to the point of being rubbery. The bar area needs to cleaned up, boxes and clutter everywhere. Time to get your spring cleaning done. UPDATE JAN 2nd, new location on S Washington is far better better than their old one in East Grand Forks. Looked nice inside, but i got my food to go. Prices to me are too high for what you get. More sauce than veggies or protein. I paid extra for shrimp, just didn't realize I was only getting 1 shrimp. The jury is out if I want to overpay...
