Bill & Harry's Chinese Cuisine — Restaurant in East Hanover

Was in the mood for Chinese food. Found this place on the map, walked in and the staff was sitting at a table making dumplings with no gloves on. They looked at me and said nothing, finally I tell them it’s just me for lunch. They take me to a sit and walk away. They show up with water and little chips like thing. I was given a menu and give me 10 seconds to order. While being told that they have no lunch menu at 11:30? I said ok and ordered from the dinner meals. The dumplings were delicious and the lo main was no incredibly salty I didn’t eat it. I asked for the bill and the food to go. Not one server or employee comes to ask me if I need anything or if I’m doing ok. Fine I don’t really like to talk to people anyways. They give me the bill I pay and leave. The employee walks out and literally asked me for a tip? I said u didn’t take my order or provided any service for me? Plus u guys have a sign at the door that states u take 3% from credit card sell? Overall some of the rudest most ridiculous experience I have ever had eating lunch. As I was leaving the ladies that took care of me when I walked in where sat at the table eating nuts and having coffee. But this dude wants me to leave them a tip? I’ll never be back, I’m not from the area. But the service was horrible and it makes sense where there was 3 people in...

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place, the food, and most importantly the owner and his staff! Bill & Harry's has been our favorite place for years… Willy, the owner, and his staff are professional, friendly, efficient and make their customers feel like guests in their home. They serve fresh, tasty, consistent food. The restaurant is always very clean and your water glass is always full. Their prices are AMAZINGly reasonable. They remember you, make helpful suggestions, and serve you like you are their honored guest. They are FAR better than all the other Chinese places around. I've gotten sick at the other restaurants and after frequenting them several times, you remain a stranger. Willy delivers (I'm in Florham Park) which is a great help. You must try this place. I go here a lot. I love their food, especially their salt and pepper. Shrimp. I have found that when you get your leftovers to go, they don't always give you your entire meal. The salt and pepper shrimp comes with chopped up lettuce and crispy onions and hot peppers. When I got my leftovers to go they put the shrimp in the container but nothing else. That means all the seasoning was missing when I got it home. I was very disappointed. I called to speak to them about and all they were concerned about was whether or not I got all of my shrimp. They simply couldn't understand when I told them that the rest of my meal was missing. They were not interested in fixing the problem. Regardless of all this, I do still go back.
