a friend strongly recommended this super chix, a restaurant i was not familiar with at all even though this location is only a few towns over from where i live, and i have to say that i do not know what rock i've been living under because their food is fantastically delicious and the staff there is even more wonderful. easily placing my order online the night before for pickup around noon last saturday, i made my first visit to super chix and was not disappointed in any way at all!

i arrived a little earlier than my appointed time and was greeted with a big smile, direct eye contact and a friendly, sincere greeting. she told me that my sandwich would be done cooking in 1 minute 33 seconds ... yes! the timing was that exact. since i was waiting for a few minutes as i had expected to, being early and all, the crew member at the cash register came out from behind the counter and handed me a cup, saying i should get myself something to drink while i waited. so thoughtful and nice!

my order included the bacavocado (i think that's what it's called) sandwich ... grilled chicken (fresh, not a frozen patty!), lettuce, tomato, ranch dressing, bacon and avocado. and i requested that garlic aioli be added because GARLIC, one of my favorite things besides bacon and avocado. originally, i really wanted to get a korean bbq sandwich, but for some reason it was not listed on the menu. i did, however, order kbbq sauce on the side. a total taste sensation to say the least!

with my sandwich, i had fries perfectly seasoned with rosemary and pepper, something with which a lot of other places are too heavy handed, particularly with the pepper and it's generally too much for me. but not here! true perfection! for dessert for a couple of days i ordered a pint of the flavor of the week, which was very fortunate for me, a major coffee lover, because it's coffee toffee frozen custard. heaven on earth!

since i am watching my weight trying to lose pounds where i can, this was definitely a treat/cheat day for me. and i have zero regrets! i thoroughly enjoyed every bite and will definitely be returning to get other sandwiches and salads and possibly get a sandwich in a lettuce wrap instead of a bun, an option that super chix offers which i would love to try. the majority of the menu is calorie laden, but my philosophy is everything in moderation and i've lost over 100 pounds following it. plus, super chix now and then fits the bill for me. absolutely love...

The chicken scene in the area is starting to get heated! Paid a visit to Super Chix after seeing the good reviews and being a fan of this style of Chicken. This is a step above the fast food restuarnts that offer chicken sandwiches. Unlike fast food, where you get your food as soon as you order, here your order is cooked fresh, after you place the order. Different combinations to choose from. One thing that may separate Super Chix from the others is you can choose from grilled or fried when you place you order. My first visit, I choose fried, but Will definitely tried the grilled during future visits. When order came to table, fries were pipping hot and sandwhich was fresh. A second thing that makes this place Different is the sauce bar that is available. I sampled from the Nashville Hot, Buffalo, Korean BBQ, and thier Signature sauces. My favorite was definitely the Nashville Hot. Added coleslaw to my samdwhich for a nominal price which is a must in my opinion when getting a Nashville Sandwich. Been to other places where this is part of the sandwich, but did not mind adding it to the order. All in all, meal was super tasty and in my opinion, a step above the fast food ones that are cooked in mass production and are not always consistent after sitting around on a warming box. Can definitely see myself returning when in the area. Did not try the custard and stuck with fries and a sandwhich With the basic sandwhich with added coleslaw and fries, without a drink my meal total was just over $14...

We came from Massachusetts to New jersey for an event and we wanted to take a quick bite before we came back home. We stopped at Super Chix. Here we meet Jessica she recommended us a few dishes that were phenomenal. She was patient, kind and very professional.
