I came here about 10 years ago when I was pregnant with my 3rd child. I look young for my age, especially a decade ago. The elderly woman who I assumed was the owner was so belittling and absolutely patronizing me, making comments about how I can’t be old enough to have kids. She wasn’t being friendly in any manner. I was ordering and said “I’ll take a small Swiss almond chocolate (or whatever it was) then immediately said actually no, I’ll switch that to pumpkin instead” and she goes “nope, they already started making it” I literally switched it with a breath in between, she didn’t even punch the order into the computer, but again, this was about her just being demeaning. I went to pay for the pie that I was now stuck with and she sees me pull out my card and goes “oh no sweetie, we don’t accept card, cash only” they absolutely accepted card, it was just MY card she wouldn’t accept. She told me there was a Bank of America on the School St Plaza (now Dunkin) and she made me go and get cash. Honestly I don’t know why I bothered to come back for it, if that happened now I would have just left and not come back. But…since that was so long ago, I decided to give them another try recently. They accepted my card this time and the new staff working the register was much friendlier and much more pleasant than that elderly woman. I ordered 3 pies and they were just not worth the price in my opinion. The they were okay, they were not great and they cost more than I would ever like to spend...

Read moreHaven't been to the actual location, purchased some slices at the Cromwell Farmers Market and ohhh mahhh gawwwwd! I'm not a fan of chocolate cream pie at all and he gave me a sample. We walked away after buying Peach Blueberry slices. I gave it a try and I realized I've just never eaten a good chocolate cream pie. The crust is thick and buttery and the filling was thick chocolate not like a gelatinous pudding. The cream was homemade thick and not too sweet. We immediately went back and tried to get some but he was sold out. So we got the last Swiss almond chocolate and it was incredible. Thin sliced, toasted almonds piled high with a few chocolate chips and a chocolate drizzle. Will definitely be placing an...
